6) Sponsor will comply with the terms of this GPWA Sponsor Code of Conduct ...

THE GPWA CODE OF CONDUCT IS WORTHLESS, but hey, GPWA got their money!

Still no payment (yes, I have contacted VA directly too - no reply received there either) and still no reply here.

Are Vegas Affiliates bothering with this forum still? Or with affiliates?

Could someone from GPWA ask Vegas Affiliates if they still intend to use affiliates? Or if they're still in business? They're not replying here or via e-mails. They're not paying either. Maybe they're done... ?

A quick update. I've just received an e-mail from Daniela at VA: "I am checking the payment, I will get back to you shortly."

I've replied, advising her to show her face in this forum.

I've just had a totally insane telephone conversation with Ellen at VA who gave me some ludicrous story about my afiliate account accidentally being switched to a 'media' account which meant that payments were not processed. They've also told me it's going to be another week or so before they can issue payment. Yeah, ok...

No e-mail responses, forum inactivity, missing payments, 'accidental' account alterations.... I think VA can safely be considered as dangerously rogue. I'm warning people to stay away.

I have very little doubt that Vegas Affiliates have cheated me out of thousands! I thought my 2+ year ordeal with "consistent winners" then them saying oh thats a fraud player were removing them and my 30k+ a year going to zero would have been enough to show that they are cheaters! GPWA of course told me that they would not get involved - yah folks they're not here for the "affiliate" - wake up and smell the coffee!

IMO, if GPWA wishes to continue pushing programs which SPAM and/or permit its affiliates to SPAM, continue to push programs which do not provide timely support, do not make timely payments, pull half-brained excuse after excuse out of their asses, by far continue to ignore the already flimsy GPWA code of conduct, then IMO, GPWA itself should be considered rogue!

I really wouldn't mind so much if this was a one-off issue but it's far from that. I rarely earn enough with VA to generate a payment but nearly every time I'm due something, it's a furious tooth-pulling battle to actually get them to cough up the funds.

I recently had an issue with AffiliateWide (I think it was them, anyway) where payment was delayed. It's worth pointing out that this was due to an error on MY part and yet they still pulled out the stops and paid me the same day. Vegas Affiliates don't/can't manage anything similar even when they've screwed up themselves, claiming their own systems/procedures prevent them from doing this. It's shoddy and smacks of not really giving a **** about affiliates. And they can't understand why I'm going to warn both affiliates AND players about them.

I am sorry you found the phone conversation ludicrous when all I wanted to do is to assure you that you would be receiving your payment. Again I apologize that we had not answered on this thread earlier but you had a quick response when you decided to send us an email on Monday evening. Our first reply to you was Tuesday morning and today I called you with the resolution. I can assure you that if you had contacted us via email on February 21st when you decided to open this thread, the issue would have been resolved much earlier.

As I tried to explain to you by phone, your account with Vegas Affiliates has been marked as a Media account. Now we have been trying to get historical data on the entry but due to new staff we cannot recollect if you had a media deal or a normal affiliate deal set-up with Vegas Affiliates. I did not say it was done by mistake. I also told you that switching it to "Affiliate" would not be an issue and that you would be paid.

I asked you if we could pay the money with our next payment run which we are starting to prepare this week, but you insist on your deadline of today prompting the consequence will be a rogue listing for our casinos on your site. This is unfortunate for us, because we have a payment process in place that is not as flexible as we would like and an instant process is very unlikely. I have now put your payment in process and hope you will understand that we very likely will not be able to reach your deadline.

Please also be assured that we will still be investigation the reason for the status to be “Media” instead of “Affiliate” but can confirm that all of the records will be displayed the same way as any affiliate account. The only difference is that for media partners the payments are not automatically generated by the system, which is the reason your payment was not processed.

We would like to apologize again for the late response as we have not been monitoring the forum as closely as we maybe could have especially as we did not get an automatic alert on this topic.

It's not a rogue listing you'll be getting, Ellen - it'll be a note on your reviews that payments (to us - not players, for 100% accuracy) are outstanding. I'm nothing if not honest.

@ arkyt: We have disclosed all information pertinent to your situation to you. Month by month, player by player. You are aware that we had to remove this one player and you know the reason why.

The forum notifications were not going to the correct individuals.

Vegas Affiliates is now receiving notifications.

I'll update here if/when Vegas Affiliates ever pay up. They may be looking under the sofa for some money...

Good to hear that it's being 'processed'. So when should I actually expect to receive this payment (for January, bear in mind - plus previous carryovers)? It's via Moneybookers, of course - so will be instant upon 'processing'.
