Default JPJ Group and Gamesys Affiliate joined forces to form a new group

To whom this may concern, this merger email just arrived:

    Dear Affiliate,

As a valued partner, you’re probably already aware that on 26 September 2019, Gamesys and Jackpotjoy plc joined forces to form a new, larger group of companies. The new group of companies is headed by Gamesys Group plc.

Along with the change of group identity we are renaming our “historical” affiliate programs into one global affiliate program. Gamesys Affiliates and JPJ Group Affiliates will now be called Gamesys Group Partners.

    What’s changed:

From Wednesday 29th January, you will notice that we’ve redesigned our affiliate platforms to reflect this name change. You will also notice a few adjustments to our current terms and conditions.

You’ll also notice our email address has changed. From the 29th, any communication from the affiliate teams will come from our @gamesysgrouppartners email address and the new addresses for each affiliate program are:

    JPJ Group Affiliates - info@gamesysgrouppartners.com
    Gamesys Affiliates - contactus@gamesysgrouppartners.com

We would like you to ensure that you adjust the copy on your sites to reflect our new identity, as follows:

    Old Name New Name
    Gamesys Gamesys Group plc
    Gamesys Affiliates Gamesys Group Partners
JPJ Group plc Gamesys Group plc
JPJ Group Affiliates Gamesys Group Partners

    What hasn’t changed:

Both affiliate programs will remain on their current individual platforms, so you won’t need to re-enter any of your details, and your login credentials will remain the same.

You won’t need to change any links on your sites. Everything should still point to the right place
    .
There are currently no plans to change our invoice addresses. Both affiliate programs will remain on their current affiliate networks.

Additionally, merging our affiliate programs will give you global access to our brands, including:
    • Legacy JPJ brands: Vera&John, InterCasino and Jackpotjoy Sweden
    • Legacy Gamesys brands in the UK: Virgin Games, Heart Bingo, Starspins and Jackpotjoy UK
    • International brands: Virgin Casino, Tropicana Casino, Botemania, and Canal Bingo

If you would like to promote a brand you are currently not promoting, please get in touch with your affiliate manager.

In other news, we will be at LAC in London showcasing our fresh re-brand. You can find us at stand L10. Don’t be shy! Come over and say hello.

We are looking forward to growing our partnership with you and would like to thank you for your continued support.

    The Gamesys Group Partners Team

Didn't gamesys kick most of their affiliates out of the program last year?

Yes, These guys just closed my account out of the blue despite me being an Affiliate of theirs since day 1.
They couldn't even be bothered to notify me and when I emailed them I was told my traffic isn't European enough for them

Same happened to me and then yesterday after I'd spent half a day removing all traces of them from my site I get an email from someone else in Gamesys wanting to do a deal to get on my site! WTF! You can guess the answer.

In my Gamesys Group account for almost 6 months all tracking links are dead and lead to 404, I'm in communication with the team which are responding very slowly but they insist that everything is ok and deal is setup correctly.. and that they only removed English and Japanese links from the system and only these links should lead to 404 but in reality no links where removed from the system (I still see English links) and all the tracking links including links to other geos are all dead.. I honestly dont know what's going on with them..

Did you receive 404 with your links or different error?

So further to Gamesys closing my account due to my traffic not being from Europe - I advised them that I get a lot of traffic from New Zealand and do they accept players from New Zealand? ( which I knew they did but I wanted to see her response, because I would like to know why they were ignoring the NZ traffic )

This was the response I got

Subject: ***SPAM*** Re: Gamesys Group Partners Account

    Hello Heather,

Yes we do accept players from New Zealand but we not push this through affiliation and only work EU market and LATAM as mentioned.

We can keep the account open for EU traffic but we do not work with traffic from New Zealand for affiliation.

    Best Regards

    Samantha

My point here is that they accept players from NZ, but if you happen to refer a player from New Zealand you won't get paid for that player because you are an Affiliate, but you can bet they will keep the player in view of the fact that they accept NZ players!!

Needless to say, I have told them they can keep my account closed as I am not interested in working with a brand that is blatantly stealing players in my opinion!

Regarding WP and messages "wrong links".

Sometimes it's only because the server of any partnerprogram has a short time out problem. But if you click on the link and you can reach the website of the casino then you can be sure that the links are working correct and you can ignore the WP message or mark as correct.

But sometimes WP detect links where the redirects failed several times and you must check with partnerprogram and change.

If you need another contact you can send me a PM and i will give you details from my contact. Maybe he can intervene regarding your problem and you will get faster answers.

This statement from Gamesys is very disappointing. I have no idea what's happened in this group and which structure they are following now.

Something made them deviate from their original intention to be a good partnerprogram, that's my impression.

Maybe there are new guys working in the backround where having new ideas and want to implement.

What i can say is that it's still working for us (pay in time, timely answers from AM) but i have to say also that it was more partner friendly at the past years.

If there are the same guys responsible which have taken the old group i can't understand the change.

What i can't understand too is that they are following the rules regarding german regulation. I'm sure they will loose many customers how others too which are following to get a new german license next year. But that's my personal opinion.

It's a similiar statement that i got from Affiliate Club after they changed Casino Club to a new german website. No more advertising and earnings for new customers through affiliates. Advertising only through own SEO from casino website in future. All because of new questionable regulations of some countries.

    ...
The message I get is "HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found"
Nothing else is shown on page.
Also no matter which proxy I use the same message shows in each & every link I try.

The affiliate manager is ignoring me completely on this, I wrote him several times and he insist everything is good..while clearly nothing is working here..
