Does keyword density still matter for ranking your content in search engines?
Of course it does. Keyword density has always mattered, and will always matter.
For example, if you write a 1000 word article, with a keyword density of 100%, you will most definitely not rank on that keyword.
It's about finding the correct middle ground. But of course it matters.
Keyword density in not so important that it was. Of course you need to mention you product name in content. But you really need to create high quality content.
Many will say that keyword density is very important but not to exceed a certain number of your page theme keywords in the body of your content.
Yes, it's still does. But it has less impact now than it was a few years ago.
The most important rule is to try to avoid spammy content. As I found out, the perfect KD for the main keyword to rank is 1%.
Not more.
Yes, super important. The more the better, like this:
Online casino is a casino online. Online casinos are super fun more fun than casinos online is not possible. When i am in an online casino i always scream: online casino, online casino, online casino. Oh god, i love online casinos. A world without online casino is a world without online casino.
I'm always still amazed when I see this question lol
It does not matter. If the content is good enough, it will have enough if the keywords written in.
Googles BERT is smart enough to figure out topic etc.
Ofcourse! You can use synonyms or longtail keywords in your content to reduce keyword density. Meanwhile, you do not need to write too many posts, just focus on one post and complete the content with keywords like that.
Hi ~ RH-Calvin teacher
Volume matters. Tested two websites, it's good to have a lot of keywords, but the more keywords you have, the
The post that supports it is more important. I think if you update a lot of articles and increase your keywords slowly, good results will be better.
Also, don't forget about the long-tail keywords that help with the keywords that are important when writing.
if you will rite an article with such keyword for Wiki, it will considered as high quality :) It will even rank up, and only after couple of month, it will disappear from index. Abusing keywords on trusted resources is still a thing. Saw it several times, did that several times and it worked.
of course, it won't work on a new domain
Yes, keyword density is important for ranking.
I would say to keep it around 1-2% but it's not going to make a great deal of difference. You're not going to see any major ranking fluctuation if you have a keyword density of 1% or 10%, too high is probably going to do you more harm than good, though. It's to easy to manipulate, which is why Google only give it a little weight, there are probably 1000 other different things that influence your ranking more.
Just concentrate on writing easy to read, high quality content and keywords will fall into it naturally as your writing about a subject anyway.
If the article is really useful, it doesn't matter if you don't use many keywords.
I personally think that adding keywords when there is little relevance to the article will not benefit the user and will result in the opposite effect.
Yes, It's still matter for website ranking.
Keyword Density = Total No of keyword/ Total no of words.
Keyword density should be 1 % and 2% in the blog.
Thanks

1 - 2% is somewhat the rule and good proportion of keywords vs. total content, but I wouldn't pay too much attention to this.
Like a few other guys said above most important that your content is useful to the users and written by yourself or your content writers (i.e. not copied from some other sites) and not intentionally stuffed with keywords. This way everything will come out naturally and your content will look genuine - both, to readers and to search engines.
If you really want to check your keywords density for a given article there are some online tools which will calculate this for you. For example you can use this tool (note I'm not associated with this in any way) - https://www.seoreviewtools.com/keyword-density-checker/
Hope it helps!
I didn't know that keywords were important. It was helpful.
Of course. Keyword density is still a very important part of search engine optimization. I don't see why it wouldn't matter.
