LAC: London Affiliate Conference App Messages

Quick question for the LAC organisers... how do I turn off the networking messages that are being sent by the 'London Affiliate Conference' app?

In previous years I've just been able to log in to some kind of admin area on the conference website to turn it off, but I can't find anything like that this time and I don't want to have to download the app just to stop the messages.

In the future, some kind of opt out when registering would be nice - I have no interest in this kind of feature as it just fills my inbox with emails from people I intentionally don't want to deal with...

Hi,

If you click on your profile, then the settings icon in the top right hand side, go to settings when it pops up, and switch off 'allow private messaging'

don't have a clue on how to login to this app lol ... bloody hell .. i enter the username and it says non-existing ... deleted!

If you click the "download" link in the email you received from your pc you can open the html5 version in your browser.

For the app/website I had to use a specific username and password that was emailed to me (basically my name), just FYI.

Quick bump for those of you who want to opt out of the messaging - just spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to do it until I rememberd this thread.

Also could this become opt in rather than opt out?

I got mine immediately after registering. The subject line of the email was "Welcome to London Affiliate Conference 2016" if that helps you find it.

I got my login a couple of days ago. Regged for the conf last month.
