Most SA players prefer to play in Rands because the Euro/Dollar/Pound to Rand exchange rate is so high.
So depositing and withdrawing in Rands only is not really an incentive.

(I'm replying on Beth's behalf because she's on holiday for the next few days).

How it actually works is that once a player makes a deposit in rands, that amount is actually changed into chips, not converted into a specific currency. The ratio for rands is 10 to 1.

When players are ready to withdraw their winnings, their chips are then changed back into rands at the same rate. Currency fluctuations do not affect this, and bonus monies are allocated in the same fashion.

I am aware of how it works.

It's that 10 to 1 exchange ratio that is off putting. If I deposit R1000 I only have 100 chips to play with.

What I was trying to point out to you is that South Africans prefer to play in Rands, so if they deposit R1000 they have R1000 to play with and not just 100 measly chips.
