Lars Rosenberg passes away while in London attending iGB Affiliate

Unreal, my friends. Many of us knew Lars Rosenberg from his time at N1 Partners. Anthony and I just saw him in London. A few moments ago I received an email from GPWA's Gary Trask with a link to this article. I'm just shocked... again. I cannot believe this has happened... again.

What is going on? Are we just getting older and this sort of thing is going to happen more and more? I'm confused and saddened and perplexed... Just makes no sense. They are here. Then they are gone. I'm at a loss

I'm very saddened and upset to learn about this. He didn't seem to be that old from his pictures. I've also got the same question as you, J.T. What is going on and why is this continuously happening? We lost poor Maria Florides, not too long ago

She was one of a kind and she really had a heart of pure gold.

My heart & soul goes out to his family & friends. He was such a great figure in our industry, so kind, so caring, such a good buddy and approachable 24/7 if you needed anything. He will be so sadly missed, I am speechless. R.I.P LARS, you shall never be forgotten bro, till we meet again!

Have heard many people describe Lars as a "gentle giant" and after meeting him for the first time last week in London, I couldn't agree more. He made it a point to stop by the GPWA stand to pass on his condolences for Maria's passing and he was clearly broken up by it.

Below is a link to our affiliate manager interview with Lars from February 2019. When asked to pick three people he could have dinner with -- dead or alive -- Lars included Maria at his table.

Here's hoping the two of them are breaking bread right now together somewhere.

I had a good visit with Lars in London. We reminisced on how we met at the hotel bar in Amsterdam. That night, Maria came down to get me, I introduced her to Lars and we went left, as we were leaving she asked me how many years I have known Lars, I told Maria I just met him and she was shocked, she said they way we were laughing and carrying on in the bar she figured we were old school mates. Life is truly too short.

I remember I met and spoke with him in Amsterdam 2019, he had this energy of kindness and simplicity.
