Latest GPWA Times Cartoon Caption Contest (June 2009 issue)

It's caption contest time again!

The June issue of the GPWA Times magazine includes the cartoon shown below. It depicts a scenario most of you are familiar with.

If you work in the online gambling world as an affiliate, you've heard the questions hundreds -- or maybe even thousands -- of times. "What is it exactly that you do for a living?"

The answer to this question can particularly difficult to explain to family members who simply don't get it. Pictured below is a GPWA affiliate who is attending a family reunion when the subject comes up once again. And as he opens up his laptop and tries to explain, the questions don't stop. What's being said here? Well, we want to leave that up to you.

After hours of describing the strategy of marketing a business online, and the long hours of learning SEO, Branding, niche's, dealing with affiliate Managers, other Affiliates, keeping your websites updated with fresh material and all the content writing, keyword placements....etc....Joe Affiliate finally admits with a "sigh", "Yes, I gamble online, I am an addict, I make no money i just gamble what i do have everyday, please help me!"......Family members shout "I Knew It"!!

I have web sites! Are you making money? Some times; yea what kind of web sites Tony, Mmmm you know just websites, I don’t want to see you in jail Tony, Oh just gambling sites. Now I know why he is always broke, you don’t make money gambling, I don’t gamble I just promote gambling, yea right.
