Let's fight the hackers!

Hi guys,

I've wrote a news release about the issue of affiliate hackers, along with that we have launched a new tool to help combat them.

The release: Hackers Plague Online Gambling Affiliation Programs
The tool: Gambling Affiliate Hacking Reporting Tool

We are awaiting more official responses to Google who have acknowledge the problem through their press office and we are also awaiting feedback from 888 Casino and Stop Fraud police (UK).

It also looks promising on highlighting the issue as several SEO related news sites are looking to run a similar story.

We are looking to run a follow up story in about 6 weeks when we have all responses and some engagement with the tool. We have had our first success from the first submission too:

XXXhttp://chriswoodmusic.co.uk/choy-sun-doa-slot-machine-online/ - had an email from this guy who we issued a letter to who was not aware of the pages and taken them down, very grateful too. Was a page 2 ranker for Choy Sun Doa Slot machine / online (still is).

Would be good for feedback as always as this seems a mutual problem.

Also just had feedback from the UK Action Fraud, just in case anyone stumbles across this post after being a victim to the hacks:

It’s important that any businesses who suffer this type of cyber attack report it to Action Fraud.

Action Fraud is the UK’s national fraud and cyber crime reporting centre, providing a central point of contact for citizens and businesses. The National Fraud Intelligence Bureau also hosted by the City of London Police, acts upon the information and crimes reported to Action Fraud, developing and disseminating crime packages for investigation locally, regionally and nationally, and executing a range of disruption and crime prevention techniques for victims across all sectors to target criminality and engineer out the threat from fraud and cyber crime.

You can report fraud and cyber crime to Action Fraud online at www.actionfraud.police.uk or by speaking to a specialist fraud and cyber crime adviser on 0300 123 2040.

Excellent efforts so far!
