We apologize for others occassionally hijacking threads, or possibly posting spam or cross-posting messages more than what you may deem appropriate. If any member, (Public or Private) posts what you determine to be inappropriate, send a pm (private message) to CasinoGlen, Allstar, myself, BigB, Casinodudes or any other moderator or Administrator and we will look into the matter.

Sometimes webmasters in their over-zealousness post about their programs or sites more than they should. When we recognize this we do take action and request that you forward these issues to a moderator or admin, so that we may help correct the situation and be sure that all parties involved understand posting rules.

When you state you require link pages to be a PR3.

Do you then later remove the link if a partners page happens to fall below the PR3 threshold?

How would you feel if you were linking to a partner that required a PR4, dropped your links because your page happens to fall below the threshold? (it may be back to PR4 in the next update, but that could be months away)

I am not digging on you specifically as much as trying to inspire a bit of thought.

Geez, I have one site that was a PR5 ....then had been a 4 for quite a while....and went to a PR3 late last year or early this year....and traffic went up!

I'll take the traffic over PR any day....lol

Note: PR is a bit of a barometer on sites, but putting too much faith in PR is not always wise.

I have 2 PR4 poker sites

You want links from them, pm me please Pokerboy. The traffic to these sites is very thin. I am not a poker player and it shows. Heck, they are way out of date.

Tell me what you want, where you want the link, and which pages, and I will sort it out.

I know PR is not the best way to evaluate sites, but it’s pretty much the way it’s done. I had a hard time getting links before my pages had any PR. – It is also done to make sure google does not penalize the site.

But then again if it falls below 3 I would probably re-evaluate the link. I’m not saying I would drop it, but I would re-evaluate the situation. If it does not have any PR and not bringing in any traffic it would probably go. If it fell from 4-3 I wouldn’t mind, maybe it’s just me, but most of the pages I have ever visited with a PR<3 has been kind of trashy (I know not all, but in general).
And how I would feel if someone dropped my site on the basis of PR – No problem…if the person has the courtesy to PM me the changes so I can remove my own link. SEO and PR is a jungle and each person has his or her ideas of how things are done.
Some people valuate PR highly and some don’t. I know that PR does not mean much on the English speaking market..but it does on local search terms. I plan to launch a lot of sites in different languages, and am quite confident that PR will help me a great deal – at least it will help me get my new sites indexed faster.

Traffic over PR any day – I agree, but as a fairly new site I cannot provide a lot of traffic – But I can provide PR which by many webmasters is valuated highly (maybe to highly) – but if someone want to change links from a high traffic site please let me know

I am not sure why you posted such a statement, BUT...

We try very hard not to censor anyone who posts here.

At times a poster will let their frustrations and emotions show in a post and we understand that is to be expected. We always try to see past that and continue onward to help others possibly understand better, and work toward solutions.

This place exists to help all who wish to gain more knowledge of the Industry as a whole...and does not exist solely for those who feel they can take advantage and use it for their own self-supporting promotional basis.

Anyone that knows me or has spent very much time here can tell you that I too am a bit atagonistic at times, and am sometimes quick to post with a lot of emotion.

We ask you to attempt to be a little more tactful in your opinions, as whatever you are referring to as being whining is clearly NOT the case.

To you, it may seem as such, but to the person who posted, it is a very real situation, and one in which they are looking for answers or guidance or help or whatever.
