Thanks for your reply I have not had any site speed issues, at least only for short periods. I am down in the Canary Islands which might have something to do with that for me. However my site is hosted with NS in the US who are normally reliable. No one else has reported any issue.It may depend where you are?

same here, it took about 15 seconds from the Czech Republic

I tried testing with Pingdom and it took almost 6 seconds to load your page even from the US servers. there is definitely something broken on your website and this kind of loading time is a huge issue...
