Alex, I just received the latest update ('must see at LAC 2012') - the 'more information' button isn't hyperlinked. Not a big prob but the only working link to the site in the e-mail is tucked away at the bottom in small letters. And to give you something else to play with, I replied to the previous e-mail (about the awards party) and it bounced

I knew you'd be pleased! I will keep looking for more stuff for you to do, they say work is good for the soul

Here's a start. Is there an exhibitor list for LAC, showing all stands, numbers and layout? I can't find anything on the site.

I have a transport question. On the 29th Jan, I need to get from the hotel in London (Grange Tower Bridge) to Birmingham city centre, probably via train. New Street is the main train station in Birmingham. Anyone know which is the nearest, main train station to Grange Tower Bridge that will take me directly to Birmingham, without any yucky transfers?

    TIA

Just booked my ticket to London. See you guys there.
If some of the casino/poker rooms here have some time over, I would be happy to meet up for a meeting.
Shoot me a PM; and perhaps we can book something.

    Best Regards.

That sounds ideal. Less than 5 miles from the hotel, according to AA Route planner. Cheers.

Cheers. As it's only a few miles, a taxi from the hotel to Euston shouldn't be more than a few quid. Probably!

taxi are ok in london for a one off trip, when me and my missus went down there we used taxis instead of the underground and it wasn't too expensive

This is a cool site to figure out how much a cab will cost:http://www.worldtaximeter.com/london

Alternatively it's only 5 or 6 stops on the tube.

It reckons £16.50 for hotel to Euston, 15 mins journey. I have decided to offer to shout the URL of anyone paying me £16.50. I will shout your URL out of the taxi window for the 15 mins journey, terrifying passers by with your domain name.

They are just a v big taxi company in London = Good for central London journeys and very reliable plus great communication, once they go towards the airport though they are a rip off
