If all goes well, then this will be my fist conference to meet with you all and believe me I am really looking forward to this occasion read all your posts, but words can be misleading. So this will be a good opportunity to speak to as many of you as I can and find out the real people behind the words. See you all there.

    Hello everyone,

Today, I decided to attend CAP EURO and I'm excited to meet you guys, do some networking and whatever. hehe

I'm currently on vacation and get back on the 3rd so I'll be well rested up for the trip.

Hey bonusstreak, maybe we can meet up for a drink or in your case two or three! hehe Just kidding

Being that I have to secure flight and hotel reservations I'm gonna surf to check and see where folks are staying.

    LOL Great!

My friends call me "one shot wonder" for obvious reasons so it will be interesting. hehe

Once in awhile I'll have a strawberry daiquiri, but I'm going to be more adventurous when I get to London.

I called my bank no problems using the ATM's in London.

Unfortunately I will not be attending this event. I simply cannot justify the cost involved. But for those who are how fortunate you are! have a great time!

One day I'll get to a CAP event... just never find the timing works for me... No exception this time... Actually, not sure I'll make it to any industry events next year

    Thumbs up

    Hi matted,

I certainly have the time too much I think? I tallied up the price, $2500 Canadian, a bit of a shocker. I would be better off pumping that back into my site or feeding the poor.

At these prices not sure if I will ever be able to attend with a clear conscience. So I guess were kind of in the same situation. I have the time but you can afford to go.

Hey, does being more adventurous mean have a few of them at once?

I'll be there (and at ICEi too), and I LOVE strawberry daiquiris (and margaritas), and one is never enough!

I was lucky enough to get a full sponsorship my first trip (airfare, hotel, conference, etc... I only paid for food). My second trip my airfare and conference was paid for. At least the CAP conferences are free for affiliates!

BUT - in hindsight, they would have been worth the expense. You can see it as a big expense - but the things you learn, the people you meet, etc more than pays for itself. After my first conference I went from $0/mo to a monthly check. And it does seem like after each conference I pick up enough knowledge that, once implemented, makes a noticable improvement in my income within 3-6 months. You do have to pay attention, go to the seminars, and spend time talking to folks - not just the drinking and other social stuff which dominates the talk afterwards.

I did attend CAP Spring Break 2006 what a good time it was. I met so many terrific people. The hospitality was far beyond my wildest imagination and it was free for affiliates!! I still think about it.

How fortunate you all are. I would love to attend but chances of me getting sponsored are pretty slim. You are very fortunate Matted!

LOL Maybe I should just make it a triple so that I can sip on it all night.

greek39, it's to bad that you can't make this event. I would have liked to have met you to pick your brain on a few things.

Matted is 100% correct. I feel that the trip is a business investment that pays off in the long run. I've gathered valuable information and contacts at every conference that i've attended.

In the past I've gotten my air and hotels paid for, but this time they want to much real estate on my home page so I'll pay for it myself.

I remember they had a space on the registration form for those seeking sponsorship, wonder what the results of that were?

Well I finally decided to bite the bullet and let the Company treat hubby and me , so we have decided to forgo the South African sunshine for a week or so and come and see what all the noise and fuss is about. Not going to ICE but will make sure we come to CAP.
Will be great to finally put some faces to names

I too will be in London from 23 to 27 January. Anyone who wants to meet up for a chat, please send me a pm. I have tried to book appointments with the affiliate programs throughout the day and have left the evenings open to chat and so forth.
    Have a wonderful day

    Guys

I just posted this on CAP - If you haven't booked your hotel yet make sure you do ASAP - Hilton Olympia is full on the 22nd and 23rd and all other hotels are filling up rapidly. If this is anything like last year rooms will quickly dissapear now - If you are after room you can contact Margaret at IHC who is managing this for us - Her details are here http://www.capeuro.com/hotel-travel/

    See you in 3 weeks!!
