    Cool London Networking Event Photos

We took over 1,000 photos at the networking events surrounding the ICE and LAC conferences in London. We've picked a third of the photos and posted them for all to see. Just click on the images from each event or the text underneath. Enjoy!

Did you know Wagershare, a staple for affys, have refused to pay affys if they have not met their quota? They decided to enact this old term apparently.

Did you know Betfred is being investigated for rigged games? Indeed they have a forum here and I have asked. However no one from gpwa answered.

Did you know that that affiliates united was named best affiliate program yet they are named predatory at AGD?

Michael, you know that the award for the best affy program should at least be approved at AGD!

Do any party animals at these conferences give a dam about any of this plus many more issues?

This is complete insanity to care about what photo's are taken.

I am so sad that gpwa feels photos from some party are the focus.

    Hey guys,

@Michael, love the pics- thanks for posting these as I know a lot of people cannot find the time to capture the fun that we have together as an industry at these events- the memories are priceless!

@Mojo, I totally understand that you're upset and I'm very sorry to hear these things are happening, but I have to jump in here and say that of course Michael and the GPWA care about the issues that you mention above. I worked for Michael (& the GPWA) for 5 years and so many of our conversations revolved around helping affiliates and solving issues with predatory affiliate programs and unfair Ts&Cs- it was always his biggest concern. I bet if you sent Michael a PM with some of the issues that are bothering you he'd be happy to help

I think its important to remember that there are some positives along with the negatives...there are some really good affiliate programs out there too!

    Becky

Thanks for that Rebecca. I appreciate the honesty.

I realize that gpwa and Michael does a lot to help. He has helped me more than I can say. He has the resources but it can be counterproductive when some of these programs are actually celebrated and the real issues are ignored. It also appears that gpwa is a billboard for this and are advertised here for months in advance. I don't have a problem with that but IGB does nothing to help the cause and affiilates don't have much of a say. I'm all for awards and recognition but to give a predatory program an award is beyond my scope of understanding and devalues those that truly deserve it. I'm not the only one as you can see here.

Where is the reporting on affiliate issues that everyone wants to talk to programs face to face? When I see these things I will speak up. It doesn't mean much when I do as the beat keeps going on and nothing changes. But staying silent is not an option and at least I am allowed free speech at the gpwa.
