Just sent this out to my iGaming Notworker group on facebook - A guide to evening activites for next week Enjoy
Hi There,
Like me, you are probably way too busy in advance of the multidude of shows next week to plan your evenings, so I have noted down all the networking parties (or at least the majority) below.
Before I go into that - If you haven't already please click this link and donate to Oxfam for Haiti - It is a specific landing page where all donations will be matched by Calvin Ayre up to $1,000,000 so it makes a lot of sense to donate here. Thanks https://www.oxfam.org.uk/donate/hait...ke/calvin-ayre
Monday 25th Jan
This is the day before ICE/IGE so there isn't a whole lot going on. A few people are meeting at bars around Kensington but the only real event is the IGA Awards http://www.gaming-awards.com/index.html I haven't been before but they are attempting to break online gaming this year so it may be interesting....Let me know
Tues 26th Jan
ICE/IGE kicks off and there are two parties I know of - The first is the CasinoMeister which is for all the forum members at CasinoMeister...You will need a password for this one and of course the location.....The second party is called "Infusion" which is teh offical party for IGE/ICE which has a cost attached but this year its £15 rather than £50 - The party is at Orchid and will be a mix of iGaming and land based people - Site is http://www.ige-exhibition.com/104/1300/1491/index.php
Wed 27th jan
Wednesday is the Fire & ICE which is the biggest party in iGaming with 2,000+ attendees - BUT before that happens we have a small affiliate meetup in a pub by the LAC hotel - Details are here http://www.facebook.com/event.php?ei...5724220&ref=mf Then as mentioned is the Fire & ICE party (www.FireAndIceParty.com) - Make sure you swing by our stand (iGaming Business 3504) at IGE to get an invite
Thurs 28th Jan
This is the last day of ICE/IGE and the day before LAC starts and so our LAC parties begin and pretty much don't stop for 4 days - We kick things off with welcome drinks at the LAC hotel (The Grange St Pauls) sponsored by Partnerlogic and Ignite Bingo from 1.30pm - 4.30pm where there will be drink, food and chance to win a Lamborghini Gallardo Roadster for the weekend. Click here to RSVP https://www1.partnerlogic.com/plprox...ation/form.php
Following the welcome drinks you have a couple of hours to refresh and get ready for the third annual iGB Affiliate Awards which will have 550 people in attendance including the likes of Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Scotty Nguyen, and Doyle Brunson - See www.iGBAffiliateAwards.com This is a ticket event though and will close today - There is also just 8 tickets left I believe
Fri 29th Jan
This is the first day of LAC and with over 2,000 people registered expect this to be busy! I am actually pretty nervous of teh amount of people coming.....fingers crossed it all goes smoothly! Anyway back to the parties, after LAC we immediately move back to the LAC hotel for the BingoPort.co.uk annual Players Choice Awards - RSVP here http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=262128119025
Following the BingoPort Awards we move on to the 888 party which is taking place in Parker Mcmillan a very cool underground club and series of interlinked Victorian vaults and bars - Pick up a party invite at their stand. The party venue is here http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...state1=actions
Sat 30th Jan
For many of us this will be our 6th day of night and day working but there is still 36hrs left of the event so no time to rest. Following LAC and the final ASOP table we once again have 2 parties! First one is Slotastic beers at the Centre Page a pub just two minutes from the official hotel, the beer will be flowing from 5pm so get their early and take advantage - Pub location is http://maps.google.com/maps?source=s...684&spn=0.00.0
Following the Slotastic beers we move on to the C-Planet Party which is taking place in the West London at the famous Orchid club just near Picadilly - This is their 7th party at one of our events so they definitely know how to deliver now. Expect big things! RSVP is http://www.c-planet.com/partylondon2010
Sun 31st Jan
The event isn't quite over yet as we still have the Sunday session where we will be hiring the Centre Page pub again from 1pm http://maps.google.com/maps?source=s...684&spn=0.00.0 for delegates to have one last final drink (probably a big coffee) and some food before they depart with their cases of business cards.
Enjoy and good luck
Alex
