According to me don't buy backlinks. Google not accept any backlink that a website gets after buy. Build natural backlinks by using organic strategy.

Even though you're right about good old google, I would like to point out that we're inside of a highly competitive niche. Not many webmasters would 'organically link back' to your site. So, that makes it more complicated.

If you wanted to buy links, I suggest you do not buy links from 'public market places'. Do not get fooled by any SEO offer. Don't pay them.

If you really wanted to buy links, I guess you could approach a webmaster with the question if there would be a chance to get a link in exchange for a link to his from yours type of thing. Does also not always work, but sometimes, it does.

You can also post a thread asking for those to pm you who would like to sell you a link. That way, you kind of keep it 'private' and no one will know that if such and such his site now links to your site, that you actually paid for it so to speak.

Before you do any of this, you should ask yourself, is my site worth linking to?

You could always go and create your own network of sites. Let them link to your main sites. But, you must at all times keep quality the main factor of those sites. Lots of content, aimed at user experience.. And, you must do this in such a way that Google does indeed see them 'as different' owned by 'different people' hosted on a different host, registered with a different domain registrar etc. Do it right could allow you to build your own link network. Still, also this, in Google's terms, is 'frowned upon' but hey...

Whatever you do: Do not go for low quality links, hoping they might benefit. They will not benefit. Period.
