Looking for free responsive themes (non-gaming)

Can anyone recommend sites or specific free themes for wordpress that are responsive or do a decent job of being mobile friendly?

I have a few clients that have been discussing rebuilding their sites to be more mobile friendly, a few current running wordpress and a few do not, but those that do not are not really huge sites so I could likely rebuild them in wordpress fairly easily.

These are non-gaming clients so there is no real big need to have a bunch of affiliate bells and whistles, I am just looking for fair functionality and hopefully at least somewhat customizable concerning artwork etc so their sites could give them a feeling of being their own.

I am more interested in leaning toward the free options, since this would be the more economical route to take for some of those clients that do not like me reaching in their wallets before seeing results, and also makes the sting of when I do ask for their wallets a little less stressful day for them.

Like any other kinds of searching, sadly many places that rank for the free keywords ain't got nothing worth having that is actually free, and some have no business ranking for the word free at all.

Besides, I actually like getting recommendations from my friends here at the GPWA that have actually USED some of these items I am seeking.

I use the "Responsive" theme in WordPress. It is free and has worked pretty well for me. Two of a few websites that use that theme are www.usalegalslots.com and www.mobilecasinolisting.com

I really like the look of both sites and something similar to that would be great for at least one of my clients as he likes an image across the top with the navigation under it.

I looked at some of them randomly and most stated they were responsive.

No, the Theme is actually named "Responsive". I got it through just searching for themes from within my website but I did find this link to download the most current version. http://cyberchimps.com/responsive-ii/

No it's not a plug-in - I just used a php file and added images to create the buttons.

As far as free themes goes, that looks like one of the best I've seen!
