as we mentioned previously, there has never been a report or complaint of a non-payment by the Lucky 18 Casino group

    (assuming I'm talking with Mike)

    Mike,

If you could start your career over I'd suggest starting with this post because it was the first one I read that didn't come across ... less than congenial.

As for those who prefer to not work us, I hope you find a casino that suits your needs and I wish you success.

    Mike
That was the first decent line I heard you say. the next post you also had some daylight

Looking back, I wish I had been more clear to this affiliate about our payment dates, so as to avert this problem. Going forward, I intend to use this experience to better help new affiliates understand how Lucky 18 operates.
Most the rest of those two posts also contained what sounded like canned company propeganda.

... judging by the more than one complaint found in just this thread ... if I were you ... I'd start speaking for myself and let the company form letters make any blanket statements that make claims which clearly are at best ... optimistic.

That way you don't come off sounding like a form letter spewing propeganda.

    .........

Mike I appreciate the fact you came here ... it shows a willingness to fix what's wrong ... and I appreciate the fact that you believe there has never been a complaint etc ... that shows confidence.

    So far so good.

Where we're seeing the wheels leave the road is when you get into about 4 or 5 pages and there's several complaints .. and though I know you don't know it .. these are generally some credible people here and if not ... they're quickly outed by the same process I mentioned earlier.

So at some point we have to ask ourselves ... why is Mike still adamant that there aren't any payment problems when it seems pretty clear that there is ...

I mean ... isn't it fair to say that it is unlikely that EVERY person that posted a complaint ... is a liar or out to get lucky18?

Stay with me .. almost done.

So can you see how you lose credibility when you're not like ... "uh ... let me check into that because if its happening you have my assurance it won't happen again if I can help it. "

See how I didn't accuse anybody ... or rather infer that anybody ... was a liar .. or even incorrect ... until I had checked into it personally.

That's what will make you a great AM Mike ... personally.

And that means actually do it yourself and KNOW for yourself the truth of the matter. This will likely require homework ... the risk of pissing off people whom you'd rather not **** off ... and a host of other unpleasant possibilities ...but if you step up and get to the bottom of things so that you can competently reply with first hand knowledge, you will become exceptional. (if in doubt ... see Renee at Rewards Affiliates ... she's writing the playbook as she goes)

any business owner worth their salt will see you as the kind of employee they wish all were like ... and they'll build a foundation around you .. as opposed to buiding a loose framework of yes men that are ready with an answer which will ALWAYS put themselves and their company in the best light.

You might have quickly gathered .. throwing that kind of BS at this place will end up with it back in your face. Know what you're talking about ... don't take somebody's word for it. Ask for proof and if they are offended tell them you need to know so you can have right as your might.

and if it turns out you're working for scum ... better to learn early as learn late because you're gonna lose little or lose big. Sometimes there's no silver lining other than the wisdom you take from the expereince.

    ......

As for the casino's approach to this whole thing ... hey they're here and at least seemingly wanting to live up to their claims ... even if they are failing ... that or they're some of the worst liars / spin artists to come along in a while ... time will tell.

I think the effort shown, regardless of the motivation whether it was to continue a spin, or to sincerely address the matters posted ... earns benefit of doubt that they do have a desire to be all they claim to be.

So the casino isn't beyond fixing. Question now is ... will we back here in 3 months talking about how L18 was just another RTG joke ... or how we are now thinking about giving them a second chance because of all the good things we'd been hearing about them.

    ......

    * for the record .. I've never promoted this casino and have no personal interest in their rise or fall.

    Hi bb1,

    Thanks for sharing.

Just to answer that, I was never informed to check with the bank or receive phone from sebastian regarding checking on my bank. Only that money will be sent and all will be settle. I also did not receive their bank confirmation notice on the withdrawal only a in process email from accounts. After which i was told the money went back to them and they will try and find out why.

I am really on the verge of giving up this whole withdrawal. It been long and tiring process. All this start 5th Feb.

I have also started checking with my bank based on the information I got from this forum in mike's post as i dont have that in email. I hope i can get an update from my bank.

I really want to find a solution here as i only want my money back. I still have $280 in the account and i still have not withdraw them as i am afraid that it will turn out the same.

Once again bb1, thanks for sharing.

I saw your posting in Hpgambling.com that you are promoting lucky18. So i can see where u stand.
    Hi bigwhizkid,

I noticed you came by to visit our forum. You came through by searching "Daera Lucky 18" from the search engine. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Next time please feel free to visit the rest of the forum, since there's nothing exciting in the thread you read.

If you take another look at that thread, you'll see that it's from January. So it's not current at all. It's also the ONLY thread promoting them. And most importantly, it is a long expired thread/promo. At the end of he subject line it says "**OFFER EXPIRED**" This ran only 11 days. and ended 4.5 months ago.

Obviously we didn't continue promoting this casino, and there's no banners up now, and not any other threads promoting them. If we were 100% on the casno side here, then don't you think we'd be currently promoting them? We stopped almost 5 months ago. So what's your point?

I just wanted to see you get paid. I don't know what I said that got you so defensive. I thought if they asked for a bank statement from you, it was reasonable. I've had to show similiar documents to help chase down payments in the past. It's no fun. But we do what we have to, if it gets us paid. And then just don't play there or promote them again.

I'm pretty confident you will be paid. It seems from the posts I've read that Lucky 18 is paying all their players and affiliates. The complaints I've seen posted at forums were all paid, just some were late. Like yours.

I have to say, the way you reacted to my post makes me wonder if there wasn't a little truth in the post about the way you allegedly spoke to Sebastian. (I think that was the name)

Keep us posted because this will gain you more ground than any other approach.

Not saying whether or not it happened in this instance but I would say to all that are reading this what I have listed in my ebook for online gambling in the section dealing with casino support (I don't know if its proper and correct to quote yourself but then I'm not all the proper and correct to begin with)

if you use profanity, threaten or in any way abuse any employee of the casino they will close your account and keep your money so fast it'll make a New York second seem like it needs a calendar to be measured. And it won't matter whether your issue put you in the right. They simply will delete your existence and your money will go into the casino's pocket.

If you want to read the whole page its here: casino etiquette

I wrote that a while back but I think its still merits serious consideration today or tomorrow.

One last thing to those reading .. not in the know.

Daera's situation is in my opinion a perfectly correct approach to being a responsible gambling guide.

Nobody would like to be able to predict the stinkers more than myself but the truth is the best any of us can do is stay current in the forums, use our position when possible to help and remove the bad guys as we become aware of them.

The bad portals are the ones that don't post here because they don't care ... however I assure you they lurk because when you're a cad you need every edge to stay ahead of the good guys.

Because we're coming. (insert Rick's smilie of peace/victory here)

Lucky 18 is not looking real good at all lately judging by all of the complaints that are popping up around the boards now. The latest is now here at Casinomeister's Site

    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...tml#post302724

I would suggest all players proceed with caution with this outfit until we can see some positive change with them.

Also, it would be real easy for Lucky 18 to just simply check on that wire transfer at their bank and from their end they will be able to see if it has in fact cleared or been deposited to the players account. They can clearly confirm that here instead of just simply saying that it has been sent.

It now looks as though Mike or someone with Lucky 18 has now joined Casinomeister's Forum and commented which is good as long as it helps and is the truth in what they state there...

    Dear All,

We have not received any answer from the player since our last post.

Mike, our affiliate manager, has published in this very same tread the wire transfer details. We have tolerated the player's behavior on the phone, we have asked him to send the required documentation from the bank due to the fact that on our end it has been confirmed that the player got the money, and he refuses to prove the contrary.

We are pretty confident that the player is aware he had to contact us and submit the required documentation, as was indicated in the sent messages and was published in this post.

The player stated in one recent post that, "he is going to give up on the withdrawal". It is clear that the player is more interested in taking an inquisitive position rather than follow the protocol and receive the withdrawal.

Again, we request from the operators to take this issue into consideration and to develop an exhaustive investigation before inviting players and affiliates to contribute to an unjustified, wrong and misleading snowball effect.

By this post we seal the issue, we are not interested in any senseless rhetorical war and we invite the player bigwhizkid to contact our Player Support department and to prove he has not receive the money as our bank assures.

If the player cannot prove he did not receive the money or if he has no intentions of doing so, we encourage the operators to remove this post in order to avoid driven opinions based on false testimonies.

We thank you ahead for your extraordinary efforts.

Hey Lucky 18 guy, are you going to pay me ever? Are you going to answer any emails we send asking where our payment is? Are you going to respond to any threads accusing you of not paying affiliates?

Hey affiliates, are we going to stand for this? It has been over a month and half I have been trying to contact Lucky 18 about getting paid and everyone from their program ingores me, even on the boards. Is this acceptable behavior?

At what point are they going to address these issues. I have stopped promoting them, but I have residual players and still free players that sign up, so I am making money with them, yet I do not get paid. This is outrageous that I have to just accept this.

    Default Payment received today

    Hi all,

Just to update on what is the outcome of the withdrawl.

I spoken to Sebastian twice last week. First on Wednesday, he promised he will get the payment to me via another method and request I forward him my bank statement. Which I forwarded immediately after the phone call.

Second time was on Sunday, where he informed me that he had arranged the alternative payment method and ask me to get the withdrawl. He also advice me on my balance and stated that I am always welcome to continue playing at the casino.

I was able to get the withdrawl today via the alternative method.

Sebastian, thanks for your assistance in getting the withdrawl through.

It seems the writing is on the wall. Once again I am having trouble getting paid from Lucky 18

I have been emailing them again for many weeks now. They have not made any payments since a March payment which was sent late on May 22nd

Lucky 18 - please reply to my emails and make payment right away. This is not the way to run your affiliate program.

Why do you still promote this casino after reading this thread? Do you think your players are getting treated any better if they do not even pay you as an affiliate??

    hi you all!

I belong to a media agency which is actually running Lucky18's campaign for a couple of months now. We received 1st payment, but when the time came for getting the 2nd installment paid, problems started to arrive.

We received swift confirmation of the 2nd payment but our bank replied back that that money never arrived to our account. After countless mails sent to responsible contact (which are still without a reply), I never got the wire receipt confirmation which my bank asked for, and of course, never received the payment owed. The debt is big, and no one seems to reply my constant and daily emails and phone calls to the company.

So, from what i'm reading here, you are all having the same problem. Do you guys know any other contact person besides Mike, Naffi and Sam?

    Maybe that could help me....

Many thks and hope this can get solved for us!!

    Cheers,

    M.

we have been removing them from our sites. we are also working on helping a player get paid with lucky 18 as we write this. unfortunately, so far they have ignored those emails as well.

in the past, they did come around and make payments eventually. long after they should have mind you, but they did come around.

i am hoping they will come around again this time and pay us and pay this player as well, but to answer your question, we have removed them from our sites and we do not do business with casinos that are not treating everyone fairly.

they need to get their cards in order and treat everypone fairly, including both players and affiliates

Thks for your answer. We've already made our affiliates pull down the campaign because of this. And you're right, something must be done for them to get their cards straight.

In the end, hopefuly, will be able to get paid what the owe us.
