Wow that is insane, you probably shouldn't be gambling if you cant afford to lose $700. I think it just goes to show how gambling can become out of hand and ruin lives, but as a gambler you should be ready to lose and separate your bankroll so you're not spending your mortgage payments on Casino slots. This is shocking and tragic.

But from what the guy himself said, he'd thought about it before. Maybe he was unconsciously looking for an excuse to do her and this proved to be the perfect opportunity.

Emotions can ride it bad. It may sound a little, but when someone yells about it in the highest voice level over and over at you, that can be one of the probable results. Really crazy.

Exactly!!! That's what I believe also. Just trying to smear the already-not-so-sterling-reputation of online gambling.
Actually from reading the article I could not really find anything that related the murder to the so-called gambling debt. More likely the guy blew a fuse because the wife was a nagging type.

Apparently, online gambling has nothing to do with the situation. The man just made his gambling debt as his alibi to kill his wife! Helpless wife.

This may appear to be something more than just the gambling but this is still the excuse used and what the media will use to say online gambling is bad

I think anyone who is capable of killing another person could potentially do it for any number of reasons....neither gambling, debt or a "nagging wife" are an excuse.
