Wow that is insane, you probably shouldn't be gambling if you cant afford to lose $700. I think it just goes to show how gambling can become out of hand and ruin lives, but as a gambler you should be ready to lose and separate your bankroll so you're not spending your mortgage payments on Casino slots. Interesting post
All because of $700?!? Crazy.A dispute over a $700 gambling debt led the husband of an elementary school teacher to strike his wife in the head with a two-by-four before strangling her in the basement of their home five years ago
shocking news! That's a shame and news like that give gambling a truly bad name.

This is shocking and tragic.
But from what the guy himself said, he'd thought about it before. Maybe he was unconsciously looking for an excuse to do her and this proved to be the perfect opportunity.
Sad story.
This has nothing to do with online gambling.
What a joke that they make this story a hit piece on online gambling.
Exactly!!! That's what I believe also. Just trying to smear the already-not-so-sterling-reputation of online gambling.
Actually from reading the article I could not really find anything that related the murder to the so-called gambling debt. More likely the guy blew a fuse because the wife was a nagging type.
Apparently, online gambling has nothing to do with the situation. The man just made his gambling debt as his alibi to kill his wife! Helpless wife.![]()
I totally agree... it really has nothing to do with gambling! They had problems and the guy was crazy! That's the story right there
This may appear to be something more than just the gambling but this is still the excuse used and what the media will use to say online gambling is bad
That can be true! Why on the earth will a man slay his wife just because of a $700 debt? Hmm..there's a mystery surrounding this incident. Poor wife![]()
Life for $700??
wooh that man was so crazy.
