    Default martinbishopracing.co.uk spams

Nail orama lol! After letting my thoughts be known here

https://www.gpwa.org/forum/melbourne-cup-184559.html regarding horse racing I receive some spam in my private inbox.

A very costly mistake if my new mail system works correctly.

    As follows:

Peter, Afford a few luxuries thanks to carefully selected Race Horses...

10 Reasons we were voted the No 1 UK Horse Racing Service

*We asked 238 of our members to rate our service. 191 rated us the best service they have ever used. 83% rated us 8/10 or higher
Request a Free 3-Day Trial Now

Ever wanted to make a small fortune backing carefully selected race horses ?

If that sounds like something you can live with, read on and find out how...

Through my extensive knowledge of UK Horse Racing, a vested interest in several race horses, and contacts throughout the UK horse racing industry, I advise several carefully selected bets to be placed a day. The information is provided daily by email or phone at 11am GMT... but what's the result?

Simply following my selections our members have made a small fortune - 484 points this year - which is 48,400 at 100 stakes, and 10 consecutive profitable months... currently the best performing UK Horse Racing service bar none, and an achievement I am personally very proud of.

The best way to see how the service works is to simply request a free 3-day trial (no up front fees and no payment details are required for the trial). You will receive the same information for 3 days that has been changing the lives of existing members everywhere, and get the chance to trial the service for yourself with no obligation. So what's stopping you?

I really don't expect you to take my word for it, but simply give the service a chance for free and any doubts you have will be satisfied...

The question is why wouldn't you try it ?

    Good Luck,

    Martin Bishop,
    Martin Bishop Racing

IMO, doing a class A lookup such as you are is fairly time consuming and could easily target those having nothing to do with the senders.

Mail server software should never have been developed that accepted emails from any non-existient email account....ever!

If all emails around the world had to have a valid sender, that actually was tied in to the origin of the mail, spam would be almost non-existient.

Not so one just needs to know how it can be done in m/s right from your mailbox.

Is indeed a valid sender but this does not mean the sender was aware why or by whom it was being requested by. Spam will never be non-existent.

Rather than give too much away the sender is valid but what is not is the person who subscribed me. Could be anyone lol.

Thanks for the support Universal best be leaving it there IMO.

    Peter,

If I send you a piece of email, and you do a class A lookup using the IP of my mail server, you are gonna get hundreds and hundreds of classes of IP's that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with me, my company, my clients or even my direct service providers.

And if the piece of mail I sent you was spam, having all those class A's will not do a thing to help you determine very much than having the sending mail server's IP Address.

Everything you need to determine where the mail came from is contained within the ip of the sending mail server and you need look no further "up" than that.

With that IP, you can find the responsible person for the IP. and can easily determine the routing to even pin down what noc it came from with a bit of digging.

As a side note, my point about valid senders was if mail server software had designed better from the early days of email, we would not have some of the spam problems that we do today.

    Never stated otherwise.

And did so and found the real IP and that is my point. The sender is legitimate sending me email regarding something I clearly do not support.Even used my first name lol.

    Again my words,

You see I do not believe for one second this would be a random act of spam, nor do I believe I opted in for this either. The more probable is someone else did it for me.
