I haven’t been here long to get to know any of these people but is a nice tribute to them. Reminds us life is short...

I just learned yesterday evening that Wayne Human has passed away, so I have the sad duty to update the list of members that are no longer with us at the start of this post.

Wayne first worked as an affiliate manager with Referback. He then became Affiliate Program Director for Sports Interaction Affiliates in 2008. Later he worked as an affiliate manager at Red Returns.

The only information I know is from a post made by Wayne's wife on Facebook over the weekend with a photo and saying: "Rest with Angels, you will be dearly missed."

I remember Wayne very well and he was always a pleasure to deal with and always quick with a joke and a laugh.
I believe he had been battling with cancer.

I'm very sorry to learn about Wayne's sudden and tragic passing. I remember him from the old days of ReferBack and he was always a responsible and helpful account manager. Rest in peace.

I too recall Wayne for the old days at Referback. Like most AM's back then, he was genuine, sincerely and helpful.

Sad to hear of his passing.

    RIP, mate!

Yes Anthony had provided me the news of this a bit ago I don't recall if he was at Referback before or after Shane (as I dealt mostly with him), but I do recall him being there although I do not know whether I ever met him personally back in the old days or not.

RIP and condolences to his family and loved ones.

Wayne had been at RB well before Shane. When Shane became my AM, it wasn't long after that Wayne moved to head up Red Returns

Correct. Shane was my affiliate manager as well at RB, and he was one of the best!

I met Tarryn (gorgeous RB AM) and Shane in 2010, when they flew out to Australia. We did lunch, it was nice 25C or so, and ate alfresco by the sea. One of those memorable moments I've been blessed with having in this industry.

It's funny how things stick in your memory...

Been visited by another aff program a few months previously. Referback gave Shane/Tarryn company credit cards for the journey. Complete opposite to the previous AM's. They paid for everything out of their own pocket, and only got reimbursed when they arrive back home.

That was Referback thru and thru, always looking after their staff, and affiliates too
