Microgaming, a provider of online gambling games and software systems, has today confirmed that it will move to shut down its ‘Microgaming Poker Network – MPN’ in 2020.

It shows clearly the downtrend of the online poker industry. MPN was trying to change the poker ecosystem and protect recreational players, but at the same time don't rip the affiliates. Sad news, interesting if brands like Betsson, Betsafe will continue to offer online poker for its customers.

The MPN has never generated a single player for me, and by the replies on this thread it seems that most affiliates aren't too bothered by this news.

We still have a few listings of programs that are multi-channel - mainly because the AMs asked for it (meeting their job description?) - but it would only be 2-3% of total monthly revenue.
I can't remember the last time I personally played online poker.
