Got it too now - this is the full email:

    5th February 2024

    Dear Sirs,

We are writing to inform you about an update regarding our services offered to residents of the United Kingdom through our Mr Green brand (‘Mr Green UK'). After careful consideration, we have made the strategic decision to realign our focus and refine our business operations by discontinuing Mr Green UK. Consequently, we will be closing down the Mr Green affiliate platform in the United Kingdom ("MrAffiliate UK"). This decision has been made in line with our strategic plans and will place 888 Holdings Group in a stronger position to focus and accelerate other growth opportunities.

The effective date for the closure of MrAffiliate UK is April 2nd, 2024.

We want to ensure a smooth transition for you; therefore, if you use the MrAffiliate Platform to promote our brand in multiple territories, we will remove the territory of the UK from your agreement. However, if you use the MrAffiliate Platform to promote our brand in the UK only, we regret to inform you that your agreement will be terminated.

Accordingly, we refer to your affiliate agreement with Admar Services (Gibraltar) Limited ("Mr Green") to market, promote and refer potential customers to Mr Green via the MrAffiliate Platform (the "Agreement"):

For affiliates operating in multiple territories:

Pursuant to clause 17.1 of the Agreement, we will amend the Agreement by including the United Kingdom within the list of "Excluded Territories". Please take this letter as written notice of variation of the Agreement to withdraw the United Kingdom from the MrAffiliate Platform with effect from the Effective Date.

For affiliates operating in the UK only:

Pursuant to clause 10.1 of the Agreement, please take this letter as written notice of termination of the Agreement with effect from the Effective Date.

We refer you to clauses 10.3 to 10.6 (inclusive) of the Agreement (‘Consequences of termination') and kindly request you to refrain from disclosing any confidential information related to our brands and products after the termination date.

We want to emphasize that you are entitled to any and all "Affiliate Remuneration" actually earned by you up to the Effective Date. For the avoidance of doubt, no "Affiliate Remuneration" will be payable by Mr Green on or after the Effective Date. Upon receiving this letter, please promptly remove all promotions related to Mr Green UK.

Furthermore, we would like to remind you that all the information shared between us is confidential and we kindly request you that you treat it as such.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for your support in promoting our brands. Should you have any questions in connection with this letter, please contact us via email at affiliates-support@williamhill.com.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition period.

    Yours faithfully,

    MrAffiliate UK

The UK market is going down, I think it's only a matter of time before the majority of gamblers will start to gamble at offshore operators sites

I know many of the crypto sites dont accept UK players at the moment so its harder for Brits to find decent sites but if you look at the bonus offers, game features and the freedom these brands offer its understandable why they want to play offshore. The UK is no longer competitive, its being killed off by the day.

I'm surprised it took so long. They closed the sportsbook in September 2022 and I assumed the casino would follow shortly after. Since 888 took over they have had little interest in the brand.

Totally agree, gamblers will continue to source out other sites such as offshore to get around the continued regulations in the UK.
