Default Mustardbet Closure - Another one Bites the Dust

    Hi All,

Just received this mesage from a newly promoted bookmaker Mustardbet. I'm spending more time taking them down than putting them up these days..!.

    Dear Partner

It is with deep regret that we must inform you that as of today, Mustardbet has ceased taking bets. Please see www.mustardbet.com for the full
    statement.

Therefore, it follows that the MustardBet affiliate programme will also cease operation as of today.

As per our Affiliate Terms and Conditions
<https://portal.mustardbetpartners.com/terms_and_conditions.asp>, clause 12.5 we are today providing you with seven days notice that our agreement with you will be terminated. On this date, 21 October 2019, all MustardBet links, odds and creative should be removed from your website - although we would appreciate it if this could be done asap to prevent customer confusion.

According to clause 12.9, copied below, on termination of the agreement (21 October 2019), you will cease to be eligible for revenue-share from your referred customers.

*12.9. For the avoidance of doubt, you shall not be entitled to any revenue share in respect of revenues generated by Customers following the
    termination of this Agreement. *
Any outstanding commission due up this date will be calculated and paid to you in the normal way.

It has been a pleasure to work with you and we thank you for your help in the promotion of MustardBet.

    Kind Regards,
    MustardBet Partners Team.

    Dropping like flies at present!.

    Cheers,

    Andy

Yeah just got this too, the begged and begged and begged to go on our network and then close a month later. I agree, spending more time taking brands down these days.

Yes, so many are closing and spending time removing from sites. Spent a lot of time getting them up and promoting, now closed.

Unfortunately this is part of the business most recently.
Seven times fall, eight times stand.

They're dropping like flies. Mustardbet just updated their bonus 4 days ago and I changed it across the sites. Annoying.
My favorite such story is with another operator where they asked for a special exposure deal and literally two days later announced their closure.

Had a number of emails from these guys asking to promote them over the past few months, glad I didn't bother but feel for you guys who have done and wasted time/effort/money.

Does make you think that promoting any of these smaller/new brands on anything other than CPA might be bad news longer term.

    This one is just daft!

According to clause 12.9, copied below, on termination of the agreement (21 October 2019), you will cease to be eligible for revenue-share from your referred customers.

If a bookmaker stops - their is no revenue!

Look from the bright side: there is at least one less review to write up!

It's a shame, the pricing model they used was really well thought out. They never had the huge range of markets like most sportsbooks but what they did, they did well.

I recently started conversations with them but unfortunately this happened.

I don't agree with the comment about the AM, I was speaking with Kyle and I think it's Tom from the Marketing team. Both seemed really good and any questions I got a response straight away.

Just my 2 cents on this.

Yeah Kyle was a nice fella, I actually feel sorry for him as he moved over to Mustard from 138 only a few months back and now I guess he is now looking for a new job. It's easy to blame the AM's but it's not their fault and when a program closes they lose more than we do.
