Yep, it can be a pain in those situations as your completely locked out, also I changed my phone recently and there is no easy way to transfer it to a new phone. I had to email quite a few programs and ask them to deactivate 2fa so I could set it up on my new phone.

Managing 1000+ usernames and passwords to different websites (email, affiliate, e-wallets, crypto exchange/wallets, social media, forums, etc) can be very challenging. I remember the login information of my main accounts, but I have to resort to a notepad file to log into some of my other accounts. I wonder if there's a better way to manage login info. Has anyone used or would trust a service like 1Password ?

Roboform, dashlane and others can be helpful.

I do not like any of them that store passwords in a cloud service. Whether they are encrypted on that service or not, if the could service gets compromised it might be a situation where they could capture the account info.

Research any password wallet well though, as an example, the new versions of roboform, I prefer the consumer version as the "business" class version stores on their cloud and best I can tell they do not allow even pointing to your own cloud on your lan which is an immediate flaw in my opinion.

I use KeePass for years, strong unique passwords everywhere. If Keepass is too complicated for you, you can always use LastPass, it's much simpler.

Mate, when Andy ran the show over there, reports were taken seriously, and if needed, action was taken. Seems since LCB has been running the show, anyone can post just about anything (including spam), without any action taken. I just don't bother submitting reports anymore. There's no point.

What rock have you been hiding under LCB purchased AGD in September 2017. They also purchased these sites too:

    lcb.org/about_us (time line)

When you look at the sites they have acquired, and more so, the sheer number of staff they have, you soon realise, why AGD is now seen as another money making business, as apposed to what LCB stated was their original goal for AGD.

Reiterating, Andy would never allow spammers, but it seems now anyone can hold membership. I guess, it adds another bum in a seat, and that equates to more revenue dollars in the long run

As I've said many times before, there's nothing wrong with making money from an affiliate watchdog (or organisational) site. However, where things seems to go astray is, affiliate members of these type of sites become a 2'nd priority, and money becomes their 1'st priority. In which case, members are essential used as cannon-fodder to drive the cash into the owner(s) pockets.

When in reality, without members posting, these places would be ghost towns.

I certainly don't post to AGD that often anymore. Maybe the above is why other members aren't posting as much there too.

The one best thing Josh ever did on Guard dog was the audits ,I check there before I take on any new programs.I checked out of AGD when Grand Prive in disguise was allowed on the site ,worst kept secret that was not a secret .I will try to reach Josh but no promises and ask him to check this area or email you.

Once i was watching Edward Snowden's video regarding strong passwords. The best that he suggested was using long and easy memorable texts/phrases like for example; Ihave100%BESTpersonalcomputer&speakers@September20 20

Such passwords are safe and easy to remember. :0

Yes, maybe if you have one single login. But if you have 100+ logins? You cannot use the same password twice. I'd say it's much riskier to use the same PW more than once compared to using "weak" but unique passwords.

If someone doesn't want to use a pw manager, then I suggest to memorize one password and add some characters to the password, depending on the website/service, to make the pw unique.
