Hard to argue with 2-4, #1 would surprise me though.

VR sounds like a great idea but people don't want to wear giant headsets.. that idea has been floating around since the 80s with various different contractions and still hasn't taken off.

Onlye point 1 is hard to understand. People are not dumb enough still to wear those glasses and look like "RoboCop"
Seven times fall, eight times stand.

Apart of #1 I do not see #5 coming. There is no space, no need. Bitcoin works and is exactly what grey and black gambling markets need. Nothing else can emerge that would be that much decentralised and that much resistant to blocks. Legal markets do not need blockchain processors.

#2 I have no idea who can yet merge. Maybe bet365 will finally buy the failed competitors? But I do not think they want to get their hands dirty.
#3 is easy, growth from zero is always massive

I can see only #6: states will disrupt and kill the gambling industry and affiliate industry even more than before.
We are all bloodsucking ticks, hungry, devious
each one latched on to the ass of the previous
when the last and the first latch on it can be shown
ass-blood sucked by the first from the last is his own

VR headsets are becoming super popular, but for VR games. There is really nothing that online casinos can offer in this regard. People don't wanna play a slot with with a VR system, they want to play the new Half-life game. However, I wouldn't leave the door completely shut, as casinos are clearly going towards a more social experience. I think it's still a few years and considerable investments away before that translates into a functional VR casino.
