I found another page that might have been copied but of course today is one of those days when the gpwa doesn't want to cooperate...

I have tried to do a complete whois but I keep getting an error at the registrar and my Dutch is not good enough to understand what is happening...

Here is what I have been able to get so far.

It appears that some content pages are marked as non-unique but he is NOT giving credit with a link and obviosly he should only use the content if the owner gives permission.

Here is another page that might have been hiked from someone if anyone wants to look.

CCJ is actually very good at following up on this stuff and maybe she could post a few helpful notes.

I do recall there was a thread here that she posted short little step-by-step of how to get the ball rolling, I will try to find that since I think it was reposted in the public section....

Anyone else know where that is? I remember it being VERY helpful.

I really hate to see this stuff....

I know how you feel. When I found someone copying my content my heart sunk, and I felt my breath fall. It's no laughing matter.

Try to contact the person, this worked for me. I got a hold of one guy in the UK at 3:00AM, and demanded that he remove the content immedietely.

Contact Googles legal team. They will remove the stolen content, so it doesn't show up in the SERPS.

Here's the format you need to use: http://www.chillingeffects.org/deriv...i?NoticeID=701

Also, send it via FEDEX to this address:

    Google, Inc.
Attn: Google Legal Support, DMCA Complaints
    1600 Amphitheatre Parkway
    Mountain View, CA 94043

Remember that you will have to document the stolen content in your letter. Follow the guide and you will not have a problem.

I wish I could do more.

Contact affiliate programmes he's promoting, and ask them to ban the thief!

This happened to me once or twice..( of about 12 times so far) and EVERYTIME when i reached the webmaster, they took it down. A nice threatening email from lawyers does the trick

hmmm it looks like its going to come to that.

    he's emailed me:-

"I am no a moral guy or a stick to the law guy or whatever. I have written to my
affiliate managers and described the situation. So it's their decission. Honestly I
really do not like difficult guys like you. I offered you an overpriced price for
the graphics and promissed to take action as soon as I can. If you enjoy this fight,
go on..., write emails, make a copyright complaint, whatever, it's not my time... I
will take it down in probably 5 weeks and I will not continue writing emails with
you. I simply have no time for this bull fights..."

the deal he actually wants to cut with me is that I wait 5 weeks while he "re-writes" my content.. is he serious??

btw thanks to Ben from C-Planet and Magdalena from Affiliate Lounge for emailing him but I think you guys are going to need to help me put much more pressure on him...

make it easy for us lucky .. toss up some email addresses and what you want the letters to say.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

Hopefully your affiliate managers will defend your intellectual property. Be persistent, and point them to this thread too, so we can see where they stand on the matter. This should be an industry level effort.

1 month? Google takes a few days to tag your content as duplicate. Hopefully, Google will tag your content as the original and his as the "copy", but try not to depend on that.

im pretty certain i know who it is.. i thought the frontpage felt familiar.. its a guy i actually did a few link exchanges with a few months ago.. he goes by casino1784 on CAP.. not sure if he's on gpwa as well...

the thing that really gets me is that this guy actually complained about having his own site scrapped a few months ago on cap

    http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.c...853#post197853

instead of being part of the solution, he's decided to become part of the problem...

i want to give thanks to Ben from http://www.c-planet.com/ . The cynic in me was a little skeptical about how much his affiliates managers would do. But Ben has acted on good principles and is willing to ban the scrapper's account. Your support is really appreciated. Affiliate managers like you will help make this industry better by making ethical business the industry norm.

I hope it doesn't come to that and that the guy just improves the level of his business ethics and changes the way he acts...

can anyone help me out with his other aff programs? Anyone with pull at Main Street, Affiliate Lounge or Bettson?
