I'm confused...
Visiting the affiliate site: MySharePartners.com, finds the site is being served from an embedded "frame", fed from magicalspinaffiliates.com.
Here's Levi trying to gain partners for affiliates.magicalspin.com two (2) years ago:
hxxps://mymediads.com/profiles/24101
Code:
<frameset rows="*,0" border="0" frameborder="0">
<frame name="mainFrame" src="https://www.magicalspinaffiliates.com/">
<frame name="RedirFrame" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="NO" noresize src="blank.html">
That's just odd. Espically given this T&C clause:
vii. post or serve any advertisements or promotional content promoting the Site or otherwise around or in conjunction with the display of the Site (e.g., through any ‘framing’ technique or technology or pop-up windows or pop-under windows), or assist, authorize or encourage any third party to take any such action;
That could mean, that no affiliate is permitted to use an iframe ("framing") of any sites associated to/with the affiliate program(s). It could also mean, no iframe ("framing") of any URL, program associated or not.
Had to laugh at that one, given, MySharePartners.com is "framing" MagicalSpinAffiliates.com. Clearly a do as we say not as we do, moment!
Furthermore, when I peruse the T&C's at MySharePartners.com, I'm actually viewing T&C's which appear to have been constructed for use at MagicalSpinAffiliates.com. In addition, and more alarming... Anthony states above the affiliate program pays GGR but the T&C's state NGR and go into calculations about GGR deductions.
Hence, it would seem the claimed GGR of 25 - 35%, which in the T&C's it refers to NGR, the commission structure would end up being of a pathetically low value, once all the GGR deduction took place.
There's also a number of T&C's clauses, which, could be manipulated by the affiliate program(s?) to essentially rip-off affiliates.
Though, these days that's nothing new.
Seems most, if not all affiliate programs, are using FU clauses to bend their affiliates over in some manner or way, either from the get-go, or later down the track when, the folks these programs rely on to provide players, BITE the hand that feeds them with these FU clauses.
Personally what I've dug up here needs clarifying by the affiliate program(s), and the T&C's rectified to including these fixes. It also casts doubt on which affiliate program is actually NOW operating.
Who knows, you could be sending players to program X BUT programs Y and Z get them. And, with no specific/dedicated contractual agreement with either program Y and Z, then what happens to these players, and or your commissions???!!!
Until this is addressed, I would not advise joining this affiliate program(s). Remember it's a binding contract. So better safe than sorry
Edit:
NB - The T&C's are delivered via a DIV layer. Hence there is no actually Terms and Conditions (T&C's) URL. Call that what you like, BUT I call it sneaky, and programs who enlist this method, seem motivated to prevent/stop the T&C's being indexed, and or archived.
Make of that what you will...
