The state of New Hampshire (whose motto is "Live Free or Die") and its lottery agency were supposed to unveil a new online interactive game this week. "PlayNowNH" will allow residents to buy up to $100 in credits and go online to find out if they’ve won. Games such as "Super Slots," "Speed Bingo," "New Hampshire Poker" and a baseball game will be sold in allotments of $1, $2 and $5.
Well, the launch of PlayNowNH has been delayed. From the Nashua Telegraph:
But supporters and opponents of betting on real slot machines attacked the lottery for declining to brief lawmakers or other key public officials about the new game before they began advertising it on the agency’s website last week.
