    Try 7search.com and GoClick.com.

Track your results ferociously and obsessively.

Stay away from bulk traffic deals. (Like 10,000 visitors for $69 and what-not).

I never have results with PPC search engines.
I've also tried the above two. I think the problem lies with their affiliates.
Some of them must be cheating because I always had been billed for clicks for that I didn't receive.

    Hey man,
    I use 7search too,
Have you noticed lately lots of crappy traffic from 'domainsponsor' ?
Also, if I don't like getting traffic from a particular affiliate, will 7search block them... have you tried this before?
    Thanks

I don't know which affiliates, because didn't get some of the hits that displayed in the traffic report. IMHO some affiliates inflate their number of clickthroughs on their site by clicking themselfs but didn't even wait till the page loads before hitting back button.

I recommend avoiding all bulk traffic deals. I've heard horror stories from literally dozens of webmasters about these kinds of deals.

And I'm sorry to report that Goclick's traffic has gone downhill dramatically lately.

    Hi Randy

    So when ya gonna join????

    LOL

    OK

We have disected this question multiple times and when I see some of our bigger webmasters continuing to buy traffic from the same sources, then I get curious because I too don't have great success.

OK, the traffic in question generally FLUCTUATES in quality. I measured one that promised 10 000 uniques and only got 2500 uniques. My supplier REFUSED to accept payment for the traffic though and went about finding new traffic so no horror story there (It helps if you know the supplier personally!!!)

In addition, those who buy regularly have a certain formula for the page they use. It's a faster loading, hi-impact splash page.

According to the webmasters doing this the ROI is in the positive but they use this as an add on and rather focus on good SEO to get the really GOOD traffic.

You won't find the members touting their wares very heavily because I doubt they have control over traffic quality to that degree that they will stick their necks out and SHOUT "my traffic is great!". What I will say though is that I have heard about positive ROI with traffic from Casinoglen (board owner), Lady V (member here), and Casino Trade. I am NOT sure if Casino Trade is taking new orders though. They have presold a ton of inventory and simply won't deliver unless they have good quality inventory on hand.

Pity about Goclick, I did well with them but dropped them about 6 months ago. Findwhats ROI also went into the potty

Don't know where else to go. I stick to yahoo, MSN, and google at the moment although strangely enough, I am getting more and more hits from overture (not paid search), splut, mamma, dogpile etc etc.
    Have a wonderful day

Findwhat went into the toilet big time. Heck--I had better luck at Kanoodle. (Actually landed a whale there, but I've always suspected it was the owner of Kanoodle. I have this little conspiracy theorist in the back of my head who imagines that Kanoodle's CEO gambles through some of the advertisers' sites occasionally just so they'll keep buying traffic. 9000 visitors and 2 players--AWFUL.)

As far as these bulk traffic deals go...I guess buyer beware. I bought some of that kind of traffic when I first started out too, but I tested it very rigorously, and I will never spend money on it again. And I did just what you mentioned--sent traffic to one big splashy webpage promoting one particular casino that I wasn't promoting anywhere else. I didn't want my test to be tainted. Over 10,000 visitors, and not a single download.

Links and content, links and content, links and content. LOL--name of the game. The trick is not to get 1000 visitors a day for people searching for "online gambling", the trick is to get 1 visitor a day for 1000 different keywords.
