Default Need Help With NewJersey Gambling License

    Hello Gpwa'rs,

So, we have site ranking for NJ gambling related keywords, we did apply for NJ gambling license and go to know its going to take another 3-4 months i guess to get approved and recieve the license.

Not sure if i can ask something like this,

As we already started getting traffic, is it possible to use any other company's NJ gambling license?

If that is really possible, i will be glad to know if anyone can offer their license and in return we can definitely share some % we agree. Want us to mutually benefited.

Looking forward to any help or info regarding this.

    Thank you,
    Tarun Reddy

I guess you want your application declined when you fail the "good actor" clause then ?

That's the last thing you want to do. Seriously consider what your outcome might be by doing such a thing.

As others have stated here, I strongly advise against doing that. These licenses are going to be a painful process, but there won't be any easy way around it.

Holler in PM or Skype if you want to chat some more. Good luck Tarun!

Yes, I wouldn't rent out my license either if I need it too. One mistake on a site and the license will be revoked and/or a big fine.

    Thanks for the reply.
I guess going with our own license is the right option then.
As we are already getting traffic, worried that we are losing a lot for next 3 months.
    I better wait

We have partnered with a US friend to apply for the license, everything is good except his credit score not in good standing.
Can this be a reason for license getting rejected?

    Thank you,
    Tarun

Yeah very painful, they have asked too many things ( 3 years of history of whole family, financial data, fingerprints etc ).
    It's just insane.

There is a swedish company who offered to use their license, as they want to aquire few of our websites later, then i got bit worried about the whole process, as they aren't sharing their license documents.
Then i had to post here to know if its the right thing and to know if its really possible to borrow other company's license.

You could always go for the lower grade Vendor License which is free if you want to monetise your traffic while waiting for the Full License to come through.

You'll only be able to do CPA under this. The license is free and it took about a week for mine to come through.

There's a simple form to fill in, which one of the programs provided me with.

When you have your vendor number the DOJ will send another very similar form to you to fill out.

All done very easily and there is no cost involved.

You should be sure that they're having a license, indeed.

In Romania similar licenses for affiliates are necessary. I've considered sharing mine, which basically was just adding another URL to my website, the URL of somebody else, who could work then under my license.

In the end, I didn't do it, as while checking one of those websites, I found already links to non-licensed offshore brands. That would have resulted in a fine for me and perhaps losing my license.

It is my own personal opinion that of you are not planning on personally providing credit to any individual or company, you should not be allowed to "pull a credit report" on the company or individual.

Did you disclose that to them?

I can understand the licensing authorities pulling yours though.
