Wow that's a High fine but again how are they going to be able to enforce this with foreign based companies that still acquire Dutch players ?
I dont think they can enforce it, but it will certainly put a mark against their names when the licensing comes in so they could compromise their ability to obtain one by continuing.

Simply just not worth chasing Dutch Traffic if you dont have the capabilities to look after the players as a support function for me stay in the markets your best at increase those numbers rather.
Stay Aboveboard .. Stay out of Trouble while licenses etc are getting sorted out and when this has been sorted then go hard

Why? it is not realy...
It is always difficult to collect fines abroad, especially in countries like Costa Rica. But... casino's that got fined, won't receive a license. If a new company with the same UBO will apply for a license, they won't get a license. In the last case it doesn't matter I think, because Panther Casino & co anyway wouldn't have received a license.
It also seems that they do not act against casino's that likely will receive a license and meet the criteria (website not in Dutch language, banners not in Dutch language) they've put meanwhil till the legalization is done.
In Belgium some fines were paid actually. Betsson paid like € 60.000, Bwin paid something like that and also Novomatic paid almost € 200.000. Betsson and Bwin even received a license after that.
