They're closing the accounts of affiliates, how on earth is this getting back to normal? Unless you meant your account is being restored and f##k everyone else.

Depends on your manager. If she/he has had a look at it and tell you, you have a green light to post you, you do.

If somebody of you wants to sell his bet365 affiliate account (needs to have revenue), let me know. We do have sites, we`re not advertising bet365 yet. Like this, we can add value too.

I don't understand this new policy. It's like shot in the foot... How we can give them new depositors when we can't promote the offer. Face the truth, extra money are always the best advertisement!

So I stopped promoting 365 in December, but my account remains open and earning.

Has anyone contacted their manager to speak about re-opening promotion? Don't want to stick my head above the parapet if there is no chance.

If the stats make sense to you by all means go ahead and send them a message. Fair warning though, it isn't 2015. This is no longer a partnership but DICTATORSHIP.

They are the boss and you are the little boy that has to run around and do all sorts of stupid stuff like: put that promotion, remove that promotion, remove this one for country X, now remove it for country Y, can't say this, can't put an SS on that, etc etc. At the end you have to put up with their 2002 interface, their 1999 payment processing and their NCO.

Does bet365 have not enough money to invest into a top notch backend with an up to date automatic payment process?

Always closed my eyes to those things when the stats made sense. I haven't brought many players in the past 3 years, yet it was a steady stream of 1.5k/month on average.

However after the whole free bet ban and advertisement take down, I have barely made 1k for the LAST YEAR. Same old players just stopped playing the month most UK books pulled the rug. Wait not really didn't stop playing, they just started winning. Every month.

Ofc that's my stats, my observations, my opinion. Just giving you a different vantage point, if you are driven to work with them, lead by the old memory of once the best in the biz.

Funnily enough I never made much from them, started promoting them when the market was already saturated, was getting a couple of hundred most months though. Checked my stats the other day, now minus 5k+ !

It's actually the opposite way for me. Since I stopped promoting I've started earning significantly more. Maybe it's not worth it after all! I don't think I will actually start promoting free bets or offers again. It's a simple odds for the accumulator I've selected.

If your stats make sense, give it a try. Can use the opportunity to make more money. I just dislike being told what to do, one of the main reasons to get in the self-employment industry in the first place.

Times changed. You can like only what is possible. Now is not very good era for self-employed people. We had space for our games, but all kinds of corporations and states now intrude that space.

Many people quit self-employment even offline nowadays in Europe (and people from corporations are sucked by state as employer). This train will not stop until it crashes. The biggest evil now is Google and his meddling into ad-industry combined with projects like this: https://contributor.google.com/v/beta

Let's face it: Even without crazy gambling regulations, we all are slaves of Google already.

I do agree it's become a different relationship.

The title 'affiliate manager' is no longer really accurate or relevant, they may as well change the name to 'affiliate compliance police officers'.

Because that's what they seem to spend 90% of their time doing now. I used to speak to my affiliate managers to increase revenue/positions and get better deals. Now I get spoken to by them about compliance and how I might have my account closed if I don't change X, Y, Z on my sites. This is not just bet365, I mean the whole industry has gone like this. It's a shame.

That's probably true for the moment. Not many casinos had compliance officers, so the task has fallen onto the affiliate managers. The ones I've spoken to are just as miffed, as they want to do their job not compliance stuff. Some casinos are employing dedicated staff now and some are probably not big enough so will probably keep on using affiliate managers for the task.

I think most of them do have compliance officers and teams, but those people are not the people communicating with customers and business partners. That's usually a bit the problem with compliance people. They're good in telling what is not allowed but less good in telling what is allowed and creating workable solutions.

And most affiliate managers don't like it or don't know about it. That results in "hiding after the compliance team". They're the messenger just. Annoying. Some of them even have their own opinion if ASA approved something.

And not about Bet 365, but at some other programs, it seems also important who's writing something. The same rules don't seem to apply to everyone.

Having more grief today off Ladbrokes/Coral with vague threats to close the account.

Already been through the compliance steps with 2 different 'affiliate managers'. Now a third one chipping in at random saying this is not compliant.

Imagine that being your job. Crooks.

So embarassing and degrading being beaten up on compliance by a company that provides me with <1% of my total yearly income. Might tell them to go screw themselves.
