Default A new bingo site . Worth the effort?

I have already a bingo site registered, but asking myself . Worth the effort?

Is the european market enough for this kind of venture?
Slots and poker are good complements for a bingo site?
Of course we all know the current market conditions, but I'm thinking the website as an investment/steady income for the coming years.

    Thanks for your opinions!

I really feel that Bingo will be the next big thing. It is easy to play and I suspect once there is some momentum, it could explode much like poker suddenly came into the spotlight.

Bingo is played all over the United States. It is pure gambling - the luck of the draw... Yet is most popular as weekly church fundraisers! How can the US imply that playing online is illegal without shutting down the games played all over the country?

At the current moment I dont think there is a huge market, but I think it will be growing over the next 2-3 years.

I second that. I plan on pushing out a Bingo site in September since I think it's an area that will grow, even with the law enacted. It's easily accessible and easy for anyone to learn / play. Older people love the game... and in some states they have no outlet to play other than online.

Default I've been thinking along the same lines.

Lately, I've been thinking the same thing. Bingo is a less competitive market compared to other gambling games and it seems more fun than the slots (At least for me). There's plenty of different themes and programs to write content on.

So , yea.. I think it's worth it.

    Villa,

If you already have poker and casino sites, having a bingo site is a logical extension. The EU bingo market is very different from the US market. EU is more focussed on bingo, instant games, jackpots and lotteries and the average player value of an EU bingo player is far higher than a US bingo player.

If you are considering this as an investment, I would say it is a right investment.

    All the best!
    Cheers!

everyone has been saying bingo will be the next big thing for years now. maybe someday it will, but until it IS the next big thing, i am sticking with casinos and poker, which ARE the big thing right now... of course sports is also big, but a serios no-no so i stay away from sports

Uk style 90 ball bingo is going strong - you only have to watch TV in the UK for about an hour and you will see at least one bingo advert. All the big companies have jumped on the bandwagon and are releasing their own UK bingo rooms. Also the smoking ban in the UK has helped online bingo sales - as people cant be bothered to drive to the local bingo hall and not be allowed a smoke.

Bingo players tend to be loyal and as it is a more social game than casino gambling, and less competitive than poker, players tend to stick to one room - meaning that once you can convert a player they will tend to stay around for a long time. This is the reason I would never accept a bingo CPA deal - I have been burned enough times on CPAs in the past when losing a couple of $20,000 whales - ouch

I think people that enjoy playing Bingo, especially in the European market will be the next big thing. I say that as I think people would enjoy playing bingo out of their own homes, and they still will be able to get the effect of playing with real people using the chat function that is available in most bingo rooms, so it keeps the game social and allows players that are playing bingo the opportunity to interact with others while they are playing bingo online.
