I'm very pleased to announce today that the GPWA has launched a wiki. Unlike forums, a wiki enables members of a community to collaborate together with one another to develop articles that represent the knowledge and experience of all of the members.
Like all successful wiki's, I expect the work we will do together will expand to cover a wide variety of topics driven by the interests and expertise of the members that contribute to its development.
The initial project that is the impetus for the launch of our wiki is a project to share with one another how to evaluate and choose affiliate programs. Between all of us we have a great deal of practical expertise in this area. I believe all of us can benefit by sharing that expertise with one another.
So I encourage you to visit the dozen or so pages that represent the small beginning that has been made on this project, and to freely edit the contents of the wiki to improve it by adding material that is missing that should be included. Also, I'd like to thank Robin (GamTrak) who helped with ideas and content that are incorporated into the initial pages that were put up today.
There is a new item in the top navigation bar on the GPWA website that says "WIKI" and, surprise, surprise, it takes you to the home page of the new GPWA wiki.
The software we are using for the wiki is Mediawiki - the same software used by wikipedia. And we have implemented integrated login support that spans the GPWA forums and the new wiki, so if you are automatically logged into the GPWA forums then you will automatically be logged in and able to edit the wiki under your GPWA username.
Feedback, questions, and suggestions are most welcome!
