New Jersey assembly passes online gaming bill
The lower house of the New Jersey legislature passed a bill approving online gaming for New Jersey residents 48-25-3. The state Senate will consider the bill on Thursday. If the bill passes the Senate, Gov. Chris Christie has the option of signing it into law or vetoing it. The last time a similar measure passed, Christie vetoed it. Online gaming proponents are hopeful that this version of the bill addresses Christie's objections.
