Default New Jersey looking to become iGaming hub

New legislation proposed in New Jersey would allow the state to serve as the host for online gambling operations for other states, making the Garden State a hub for online gambling operations nationally, according a recent story from the Press of Atlantic City.

The state could sell rights to run programs out of such a hub, said (John) Amodeo, R-Atlantic. He suggested that adopting the legislation would be the first signal that New Jersey might entertain the idea of interstate compacts.

I still can't get any detailed info on how strict the procedures will be for trying to gamble online in NJ.

what about for former NJ residents.....? or NJ residents that still have family in NJ...and could open an account while at that family's house...or what happens when they return to the state they live in. example : new york, PA, delaware . Could they still gamble from that state...even though they initially opened the account in NJ, and at their family's house ?

    sooo many unanswered questions...

I believe that there will be some check of identity if you are NJ resident or not

It will only be a matter of time before the legal states work together for shared liquidity. As far as being a hub, I am sure Nevada is thinking the same thing...
