    Post New member (review)

    Hi everybody,

I'm new at GPWA and i really like some tips about my website.
    (style, content, layout, SEO)

This is my first website on the subject casino's.

It focuses on the Dutch market, but I do plan to expand into multiple languages (English is already available)

I see that many people on this forum have much experience with casino sites.

Therefore I would like to have your opinion about http://www.internetcasinospelen.nl

    Thank you,
    Leon

Well I can't say much about the content on the dutch site since I can not read it, but I did look at the english version of the site.

Overall a great start and welcome to the GPWA, I hope you enjoy it here and I'm sure you can learn a lot.

Your site is clean and easy to navigate.

Thank you, it's an customized casino template because it is very hard to build a Joomla template from scratch up,
when you have very little PHP programming skills.

Great start. I would focus on getting your right navigation to align more to the right so you have more room in the center of the page.

You may consider shrinking your header a bit so that more casinos are "above the fold" when people first navigate to the site.

    Best of luck!

I like it as well, nice and clean. Everything is laid out nicely. I don't know a ton about SEO but one thing I noticed is on the home page, the internet casino link is the link to the homepage, when you are on the homepage that link should not be active. When the spiders come through they will get stuck in a loop.

I was taught that if you are on a page, that link on the top navigation should not be clickable....I could be wrong but that's what I was taught by my SEO friends. Hope it helps, but I do like the site. Nice start and welcome to GPWA!

I agree, good clean looking site that is user friendly. I also agree that maybe your logo section could be a bit smaller, the more you have above the fold the better.

I think the site is great and you have managed to keep it clean and easy to use, something I've yet to master in 8 frickin years lol

Thanks, yes I especially used a white background to keep it restful. And i hate banners myself, so you will only see one banner at the every casino page. Also Joomla is a good CMS if your looking for simplicity.

I think i will change the comments this weekend, thanks for it.
