    Hi guys

I just spoke with our Ops Manager about Intercash.

He told me that we looked at them many years ago and looked at them again last year and the reason we have not chosen to take them on is because they are only money out, and not in, and they do not provide a service that our existing processors don't already provide.

As I mentioned, there are many factors in adding new processing methods and reasons why some don't get picked up, so I will leave it to the powers that be to decide on which are taken and which are not. They know what they're doing.

As a side note, in all the years I've been doing this job not once has an affiliate told me that if I was to take on a certain payment method they would give me top spots.. As I said previously, most affiliates in areas that don't have ewallet/card solutions want wire and they wont change for anything. I'm just telling it like I see it by the majority.

I didn't read the whole article but what is it some sort of card to get paid commissions on?

what good is that? Its not something I'd use.

Whenever we get paid to a payment proccessor or ewallet, trust me you WANT them to have a card.

If they have a card you can go to an ATM to withdraw the cash.

Also, they are good for making puchases just like any kind of credit card.

Without the card you would be left with the less options to get the money.

Well, definitely this wouldn't get my interest in an instance. I need an assurance that it could provide affiliates a quality service.

Just to be clear, I don't think this is a fly by night op and wont last.. I just want to be clear that there are procedures for this kind of thing and if we decide not to take on a new one, there are reasons that the bosses have for not doing that (who have much more experience with this kinda thing than any of us).

They went away (Speedpay) during the CardSpike, CAP, aff media scandal back when. I think they were controlled (owned) by the same group if memory serves.

Neither Neteller nor Moneybookers are a viable option for US Affiliates so clearly they are not enough to deal with.

Oh, Chips, the Speedpay I was speaking about was NOT "Affiliate Speedpay" but a different group although they do not call their service that any longer.

Having more services fighting for marketshare can be a good thing providing they withstand the kind of due dilligence groups such as Rewards would put them through before using them. This can help keep the services that are more commonly used competetive concerning fees etc.

This thread has a great discussion indeed. In my part, as an affiliate I'd rather go for those tested and already proven payment processors as it involves real money. Or if I were to change into a new payment service, I'd further look and research on my preferred service or better ask co-affiliates with their tested payment service.

Just to add, I have held an Intercash card for nearly 3 years. Support is fantastic, security even better, nice to be able to hit an ATM and cash it out for pocket cash too. The only issue I ever have is certain places will not accept the transaction (due to US processors and Intercash being UK). I have used the card in a supermarket and then go cross town and tried to use at another merchant only to be declined. Also, certain online purchases would not go through, had an issue with office max... bought a chair and got a phone call from them asking if this was issued by a US bank. Other than that, I love the card and very pleased that Income Access offers it.

    gamblingaff,

Instead of constantly pushing THIS service, you should likely investigate some of the other services that are available andIN USE at many of the affiliate programs now.

If the service listed is a good option and does in fact stand the test of time and due diligence from the programs it's usage will grow over time and become available at more places and become more of a viable option.

Why is it 2 people that have no history in posting here about some sort of new processor. Then makes a comment hell with this. Sorry, but if you don't like people questioning you about something new then don't post it. Being a payment processor it has to be researched properly and i sure as hell would not be sending real money to it without knowing more.
