I just want to say that I'm going to be there, and look forward to seeing and chatting with other members here that are able to attend.

The GPWA is a big supporter of local events that regular affiliates can attend without having to spend and arm and a leg on travel expenses.

Niagara falls is driving distance from Boston, although a somewhat long drive (around 450 miles).

If there is anyone else in the Boston area that would like to go (or that lives along the way), and would like a ride, let me know.

Dale and I are planning on being there. Driving from London, Ontario and will have room for a couple of passengers if anyone needs a lift.

From Canada so the air fair is relatively cheap approx $500-$600 Canadian to Toronto. Likely arrive early around the 22nd spend a few days in Greek Town. Then hitchhike to Niagara, only a two-hour drive.

I will be booking very soon. Yes I am excited to attend and meet!

I just wanted to say there is a private function Friday Night and you have to be a guest at the hotel to attend that one. Saturday will mainly be in the conference rooms so you don't need to be a guest for that event and we will be able to give you event tickets for saturday night in person on the saturday morning session.

Greek and others flying from US--there is a much easier way than going to Toronto and probably cheaper.
Fly into Buffalo, NY and it's less than 1/2 hour drive to
Niagara Falls, Canada. You can cross over to Fort Erie, Ont
from Buffalo or head to Niagara Falls, NY and cross the Rainbow Bridge to N. Fall, Ontario. Canada.
Buffalo-Niagara airport is much smaller, easier to get around and I'm sure there is a shuttle bus to Canada.
Toronto airport is a nightmare and way more expensive for
parking, renting car, etc.
I live about 20 minutes away, so plan on being there Saturday. Looking forward to it.
BTW, the Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls, NY is the best place in the area to play video poker.

Nothing like a good adventure very tempting. I have some family out in those parts willing to drive me from the Airport. They insist no is not an option.

I just wanted to update the thread as some people seem to get the wrong idea on this event .The first thing I wanted to say is this is not an event we are doing for profit so many of the standard conference rules do not apply to this one.The main one is that this is not open to all program managers.We have set up sponsorships and all programs coming are chipping in to pay for drinks and meals.There will be a MAXIMUM of Nine Programs in attendance.
When I set up this program I thought about the ROI for the programs and i don't think it is fair to have programs coming who are not contributing .I take full responsibility for that decision.

Now let's get to important details ,The hotel has discounted our rates until July 3 .As it is the summer season ,on July 4 these rates will go up approximately $112 for the weekend.You will not be charged if you cancel 48 hours before your arrival date so even if you are not sure I would recommend you at least secure your rate.

You must register on our website www.cbgaffiliateweekend.com ,this is VERY important as this is a PRIVATE event and you will need a security pass plus the all important FREE DRINKS CARD!

You may stay at another hotel but there will be nobody to help you get back to your hotel room so if you indend to drink I would ask you to think about the logistics of that .

If you choose to stay at another hotel ,you still have to register and you will be able to pick up your passes at the front desk after 2pm on friday July 24.
Registration Will be closed July 22 at 6pm .

As for the program , Friday there will be a champagne cocktail and appetizers .The time will be disclosed at a later time but definitely plan to be at the hotel by 3:30 pm.

Fortune Affiliates are hosting a Dinner Friday night at the Watermark Restaurant ,This is definitely one of the highlights of the weekend with great food ,great wine and forming new friendships.

At 9pm we will open the games room where we will have the option of poker , darts,pool ,shuffle board and a great tv room.Of course we will have a bartender and all drinks are free .We have a great drinks list and yes we do take requests

Saturday Morning we will have Breakfast catered for us in the conference room and at 9:30ish we will officially begin the morning session.We will have some short speeches followed by some programs then we hand it over to Gary BealFor some SEO Sessions (Strong coffee will be available for the entire day !)

Session One -

Gary will be doing 1-on-1 30-minute free sessions before and after his scheduled sessions so don't forget your laptop and notebook!

We will be having a catered lunch from 12:30 -2pm .We will have a couple programs speaking and Gary will resume the afternoon session Two .We anticipate we will wrap it up by 4pm.

Dinner plans not confirmed yet but Bodog will be kicking off their party at 8pm with great prizes ,free flowing drinks and a great fun poker game .The Bodog team is making their own rules on this poker game but everyone will get a chance to play.

We will probably be having breakfast sunday morning around 9ish and spend couple hours together and check out time is noon.

This ain't a commercial folks - Bring yourself, a couple sharp pencils and every question you have every wanted to ask a white hat or black hat. You will get real answers.

If you attend one conference this year. this is the one - free food, great company and free advice that I charge £250 an hour for - work out that conversion rate.

This isn't CAP, CAC, A4U, SES or SMX - but I promise you'll take away more from this that all 5 of those combined (because I speak at all of them and have seen attendees feedback).

Seriously folks, this is a can't miss.

(And no - I ain't getting paid a red cent and its actually costing me around £3k (or $5k) to attend, and a miserable 15 hours each way!)
