Is anyone else having trouble with NiftyStats today?.

I keep getting License Expired message. I renewed (it hadn't expired) and I still can't get it.

I may have resolved this. I changed my address recently and the renewal came through but was using my old address details. The payments all seem to have processed fine, but hasn't appeared on my bank statement yet, so i submitted another renewal using the new address and i can get in now.

I have one suggestion about Direx NV affiliate programs. They have many of currencies f.e profit is calculated for €, $, NOK etc. and it is showed in Nifty Stats incorrectly. Can you fix it and recalculate all currencies to € f.e, screenshot below:

If a person wanted to check stats hourly, program have to run at all times on the user's PC (minimized, the window does not have to be visible).

Based upon the above, I wonder if it were possible to create a windows service that could possibly run in the background, and only fire up the needed portions of the program in order to do a stats pull based upon the time criteria the user defines.

I am not sure this is needed or not, since I do not know what the memory footprint or overhead used while the full program is running, but was wondering if it would save overhead and be a viable option for a future upgrade.

There is a download interval in Nifty Stats that you can set. E.g. set up 10 hours and Nifty Stats will download casino and gambling statistics every 10 hours.

There are differences of an application that runs as a process that interacts with the desktop and one that runs as a service.

Not sure your program would benefit from that but if it could, the user would only need to load the program when they actually wanted to interact with it and view the actual stats, and could close the application when they were done and it would still pull reports without running the desktop portion.

I don't know if I fully understand you. Do you mind a specific thing? Does Nifty Stats take your CPU power?

When I want the stats immediately, I click on Download Now in the menu and Nifty Stats will start loading the statistics immediately. I have more than 300 affiliate programs where I download statistics and I do not feel discomfort. You can still adjust the number of connections between Nifty Stats and your affiliate programs and Ad networks.
