Default Nine 'dark horse' U.S. states that could legalize online gambling

Steve Ruddock at OnlinePokerReport.com puts together a tidy breakdown on which U.S. states could potentially legalize online gambling, outside of the ones that appear very much on the verge of doing so (Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan and Massachusetts and, to a lesser extent, California).

Online Poker Report has identified nine dark horse states with the potential to pass an online gambling expeditiously, provided the right atmosphere exists.

    • West Virginia
    • Connecticut
    • Illinois
    • Maryland
    • Ohio
    • Florida
    • Indiana
    • Mississippi
    • Washington

In each of these states, online gambling must first become a topic of conversation in the statehouse. If it’s brought up in the legislature, this talk could quickly turn into action, as the basic infrastructure for supporting a regulated online gambling industry already exists. And in most cases, so does the need.
Here's a link to the article, which breaks down the "need," the "path" and the "obstacle" for each of these "dark horse" states: http://www.onlinepokerreport.com/234...line-gambling/
