    Default No Deposit Sports Book?

Why don't sports books offer no deposit wagering?

    Because it's not profitable overall.

Too many bonus whores hoover up the free bet with no real intention of ever making a deposit.

The fact that most sportsbooks have moved to a bonus that matches the initial deposit - and has a turnover requirment - is no accident. This is the best way to find new players who actually want to pay to bet.

Sportsbooks would get killed if they offered a no deposit free bet. As it is they already have to limit the type of bets that are allowed with this bonuses they do offer.

Imagine if, for example, Bet365 offered a £10 no deposit free bet. You'd just wait until Chelsea were playing Blackpool and sign up then. Hey presto: free money!!
