Default No more Skrill for Spain affiliates?

I live in Tenerife, Spain. Almost all my incoming Skrill payments this month (so far Mr Green, Superior, RewardsAffiliates and more) have failed to reach my Skrill account. They are bouncing back to the merchants. I have spoken at length with Skrill's support team about this who assure me that there is nothing 'wrong' with my account and they see no failed incoming transactions - yet every casino trying to pay me this month is getting a failed payment. Anyone know what's going on?

I have the same problem with 2-3 aff programs. Skrill says everything is OK, so may be SEPA payments within eurozone are cheaper and the programs just want to cut the costs and don't pay Skrill's fees.

I wouldn't really listen to Skrill, their support is nothing short of a joke. Also I wouldn't trust my money with these clowns, because one day you will end up like the countless amount of people who have had their accounts closed and money held. It took me over a year to get back 30 odd k off them.

I had a payment to skrill rejected the other day but no idea why (just showed up as failed in the aff back end), their finance dept are looking into it. Received plenty of others this month no problem though, so not really sure what's going on.

I'm in the UK with a merchant account if that helps.

I have stopped using Skrill for aff payments since they couldn't complete a simple wire transfer to my bank account. They kept insisting that my bank was at fault. I transferred the funds to Neteller, only allowable in $300 transactions, and then finally wired the funds successfully. Cost me over $300 in fees in the end.

    Never again.

Our payments guy contacted Skrill today so I should hopefully have more information about this tomorrow.

It does appear that affiliates in some countries are now blocked from receiving payments - at least, gambling-related affiliate payments. I'm still mostly in the dark as to the reasons why.

Worth mention is a small number of programs who have gone out of their way to help me this month by quickly reissuing payments via other methods (in some cases below thresholds): Mr Green, RewardsAffiliates and Superior have all been extremely helpful and made this month just a bit less worrying. Not all programs have been as understanding.

    Hi Guys,

we also have the same problem with Party/Bwin since Friday and now also with some other affiliate programs. I thought the mistake is at Party/Bwin but now it seems its a general problem

All AM I asked are waiting for respond from skrill.

Actually it cannot be a general problem or restriction (i.e. gambling-related payment) because about 70% of this month payments were ok with skrill here to Germany. Only a few (at this time) failed..

Yes here the same. Everybody is waiting for feedback. We did not receive any payment from 3 different operator. All bounced back! I spoke with another guy he received 3 payments without problem and 4 other are also bounced back and nobody know why.

Unexpectedly, Buffalo paid me successfully via Skrill today. So it's varying from merchant-to-merchant.

I'm in Australia. Maybe not connected BUT worth a mention. I received notification from Neteller/Skrill and a few weeks previously from EcoPayz, that they will no longer accept payments from gambling entities, be this winning or commission payments. Also, I can no longer use any of the wallets to deposit at gambling venues, which are not licensed or regulated in Australia.

I can however deposit/withdrawal and receive aff commissions if it comes from a licensed and regulated AU entity (an AU sportsbook, or lotteries).

With all the dramas going on, I've simply changed my payments to bank wires. Far less fees (ATM withdrawals), and least my money, is in my bank, not in some place where if it goes pear shaped, I'm screwed!

I had our guys contact them and they came back with the following:

We have checked and can confirm that the reason you are unable to send funds to user - email address removed , is that the user resides in a country that your SKrill account is restricted from sending to or receiving funds from due to the nature of your business and regulations.

The weird thing is that Spain is not on the list they have given us for restricted countries. So I can only assume that they are doing this on any operator without a license in the country.

I've asked our guy to go back to them again and reconfirm since we have been paying to the same details for a long time and they have worked previously without any notice, so when I get something back I'll post it here again.

    Cheers

Skrill and Neteller are not processing gambling related affiliate payments to Polish affiliates as well from July 2017
