Default Not looking good for online poker in California this year

There are just three weeks left for California to get online poker legislation done in 2012, and things are not looking good. The main problem is what it's always been -- Native American tribes disagreeing on how to move forward.

I really thought California would move forward this year. If not they will have something worked out next year, they can't afford to wait any longer.

So what happens on the Federal side if Romney is elected? Won't that put an end to any Federal solution and keep it with the states? I can't see him approving any gambling legislation.

I read somewhere that Romney was definitely against gambling or poker legislations. As I see how the elections are developing and the only main contenders left are Obama and Romney I would say that for poker players it is best to choose the lesser "evil" a.k.a Obama.

Not that I like Obama, not that I think he has done so much during his mandate but there is a slight chance of something happening in this area with him compared to Romney.

Yeah Romney got a big donation to his campaign from Sheldon -Mr. we shouldn't allow online gambling because it will hurt the children - Adelson.. probably because Romney doesn't support online gambling. But then probably every Republican running for President gets a big check from Mr. Adelson just so he has a better change at paying lower taxes
