As the Attorney General he is required to enforce the laws of the land. Answering that he doesn't intend to enforce a law would probably not go over well. He definitely kept his answers short, not wanting to elaborate which signals that it isn't a top priority for him.

Meanwhile, Barney Frank announced today in his press conference that overturning the prohibition of online gambling will be on the agenda for 2009. The press conference was held to inform the public of his committee's plans for the year and included many matters.
