Default October 1st Casino Gambling information will be censored or removed

Do not crap your pants but there will be some more censorship in Google starting in October when they handover the domain ICANN control to the "UN" (lack a better word for it)

although this sounds like "conspiracy news" I would not bet on it!

I find Google is more in control than ever before.

there is already a cover up going on about US and UK forces aiding ISIL by striking Syrian forces.

I have stated a LONG time that handing over control of ICANN was a bad move.

Sadly for many years them (and ARIN) have been dropping the ball concerning lack of proper contact information for ISP's up-stream providers and 2nd level backbone providers, and if they had just made some changes and given some of their policies more teeth and actually enforced some of the policies that were already on the books (such as forcing the isp's to keep their contact information up to date or turn off their ip space it would have helped to reduce some of the hacking a great deal).

I wonder what the long term effects of this will end up being, time will tell.

I think most people OUTSIDE of the US see this as a logical step - no single government should have control of the internet.

The US doesn't shut down sites because of speech ... but it does for commercial/legal reasons .. as we all know.

FBI/DoJ has shut down many "illegal" gambling websites, just because the .com/.net/.org domains happens to be administered from the US and they therefore have "jurisdiction".

I don't want any single government to be able to shut down sites, for whatever reason (because they will always find a "legal" reason).

Frankly, given the frightening possibility the Donald Trump could become US president, and perhaps decide that he wants to protect his land-based gambling interests, the further that control moves away from him - the better !!

That's a good point Gooner, and time will tell if it is handled well or mishandled.

I wonder how many restrictions the release contracts have in them that gives the FBI/Doj some of the power they currently have after it is settled.

Now I am curious what will happen to the thousands (maybe millions) of domains seized by ICE. This is indeed good for bookies, they can go back to .coms I guess.
We are all bloodsucking ticks, hungry, devious
each one latched on to the ass of the previous
when the last and the first latch on it can be shown
ass-blood sucked by the first from the last is his own
