Offline Marketing Idea...
I was just thinking about putting one of my sites on a static decal for the back window of my truck. I found this site http://www.webdecal.com/at.cgi/415673 (they also have an affiliate program and that's my tag
) Tag doesn't seem to work unless you copy and paste it. Not sure why.
Anyways I ordered one just to see how it goes. When I drive it usually is for long distances so we'll see if it pays off. Anyone else doing this type of advertising? Do you get comments from people about it?

Yes, I know alot of people that do this and you get a great reponse.
My nephew has a detail shop and when I went to visit him he put a decal or my car that said Vivid Motor Sports, and I have been asked all the time about this shop.

I have "VideoPokerJunkie.com" printed across the back of my trunk where it faces the drivers behind me, black car, gold lettering; did it about 4 years ago. I get a LOT of comments about it, and watch people reading it all the time. I get a lot of type-ins, so it probably accounts for some of them.

It does work, but it's hard to measure results unless you plan ahead for tracking. For example, Slycin, the next time you are going to do a paint job, try using an alternate url, say video-poker-junkie.com, and then monitor how much traffic gets directed to you from the alternate domain.
There is also a guy over in Europe who runs this network of private auto owners who use wind screen advertising. I'm sure everyone knows the shades you put up in the windshield to block out the sun. Imagine your url printed on one of those and used by cars all over europe, or on the see-through screens people use on side windows while driving. That's his general concept. I have never tried it myself, but have been told it generates good results, and costs almost nothing after the initial set up.
