Default Ok Old Or New James Bond?

I personally like the Sean Connery version since he's more spyish, smooth and suave. The new Daniel Craig version is more like an action hero type. What are your thoughts?

i like them both.. pierce brosnan had nothing on either of them

daniel craig is the bad ass
sean connery is the calm collected spy.. actually when we think of what a smooth spy should be like we think of sean connery.. daniel craig has some of those traits - but he's more.. bad ass and likes to get dirty and bloody.

Connery is just the quintessential Bond and embodies everything about Britishness that the rest of the world loves, and we Brits wish was true.

However, despite the 'rebooting' that the Bond series got with the introduction of Daniel Craig, moving towards the grittier 'Bourne' feel, I think they've done a really good job of trying something different in a film series that had been so formulaic for the past 20 films.

Personally though, my favourite was Pierce Brosnan. I think he had a bit of everything, and I am biased as Goldeneye was not only my favourite Bond film, but the best computer game spin-off of all time.

I prefer the French rip-off OSS117 a wonderful parody of the Bond movies.

I've seen two films now (in French but with English subtitles) ...
The films OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies and OSS 117: Lost in Rio were made in 2006 and 2009

I think Daniel Craig is awesome, but for sure more brutal than the other ones! I personally liked Craig's 2 Bond Films...but you cant mess with Sean Connery!

When I think Bond, I think Connery. Sean Connery.

My all time favorite is and will always be Sean Connery.

Second place goes to Pierce Brosnan - When he embodied Bond he had that undefinable charm which he could turn on and off at will, which is so essential to the character (IMO) and which others have failed to replicate.

Daniel Craig is not bad too - the approach is totally different of course but I can appreciate that ruthlessness he brings to the character.

What about the slot game James Band ... obviously not an original title.

America's answer to James Bond was James Coburn in a movie called "Our man flint" .. sorta James Bondish - but he couldn't pull off suave like Sean Connery can. Connery probably wasn't even acting - just being himself.
