    Default who and what

Ive found that alot of money can be made with casinos right now that are not microgaming. weird as that sounds, but looking around, everybody seems to be promoting the same casinos and most of them are microgaming. Give credit where credit is due. micro pays its winners. But I think ive found a nice switch by promoting some good playtechs like islabonita , maxima and indio casino. They seem to be doing great and the members love it.

The only problem is, micro has a bigger fan base than playtech, but Im truley finding playtech is the way to go now a days.

    just an opinion

You may want to spread your portfolio a bit.

The model that appears to work best in the long run is % Revenue Share.

Some casino groups have incredible retention but are hard to sell due to them being so well established, that your visitor has seen it all (they like to see new things). In this list I would include Fortune Affiliates, and Casino Blasters. I love them though, the player you do get are very loyal.

Then you get the balanced programs, good retention, good conversions, well established but not as heavily marketed. The likes of IOG, Casino Partners, Focal Click, Brightshare, Vegas Affiliates, Vegas Partner and so forth. These mey be the core of your sites in fact.

Then you get the newer groups who usually convert well but sometimes don't have the greatest retention. I won't list names in case they feel offended but several RTG's covert brilliantly for me but struggle to retain the players interest. The exceptions at present seem to be Wager Junction and Gambling Wages where they not only convert well but their retention teams seem to have a good act that works.

So, spread that risk across maybe 10 programs. An e-mail to the affiliate manager should extract good advice about which casino to promote. Some casinos are themed and may in fact suite your site down to the ground! Example, I push All Slots heavily on my slots sites and it does really well for me. Before the slots sites were established, I couldn't find a player for Brightshare no matter how hard I tried. Casino Rewards with Blackjack Ballroom is another example, on the right page or the right site it will do far better.

Another reason to spread your portfoilio is the special offers. The groups have specials at different times and with a spread portfolio, you will always have something special for your visitor

Can I ask what is the average converstion, and about how much can you expect to make from an individual player?

Differs for everyone. Like I said, with for example Golden Palace, I have to send a lot more visitors to get a player but, with their retention, the player is more loyal.

I mainly promote slots (I play slots so its logically easier to promote with passion). Slots have a way higher player value for me than for example Free Games. So, you have to look at your own sites and your target market.

More importantly, the common thread to most webmasters here is that the longer you are in the game, the more successful your formula becomes.

Your situation is unique. There is NO DOUBT that you will do differently with different casinos than I would. Different player values too. If you push free cash, free games, and small bonuses, then expect small players. Not that you won't pick up a good player, but they will be the exception.

Establish an authority site with rare and valuable information and you are going to get bigger and more loyal players. It's in your hands.
