How much is the keyword online casinos worth in msn ( live.com ) ?

Can anyone give an opinion based on either their opinion or facts if you can get that keyword (online casinos ) into the first 4 positions of live.com.

I remember you asking something similar for the term "best online casino" in Google's SERPS.

It's hard to say helpyou, it all depends on how well you convert the traffic. it's also a pretty broad term so I suspect (don't know for sure) that it will convert less than the more specific niche terms.

i'd like to hear what other's may think about the "worth" as well.

Just the fact that it's MSN and not Google devalues the "value" (if there is any) due to the fact that MSN is used less than Google.

You've done a great job though of getting your site to that position though. Keep up the good work.

The rank has no value. The traffic that comes in from the rank does. And the ability to convert that traffic has value.

I think that value of that keywords in msn is 1/100 respect to same keywords in google.

That last question may be something we can quantify.

I agree that Google dominates the search engine scene as is probably responsible for 85% of searches with Yahoo being responsible for another 10%

MSN barely registers on my site and of the nearly 9,000 searches received on my site so far in March my stats say that MSN delivered just 115 (about 1.24%)

So yes - MSN might be worth about 1-2% of Google.

How much traffic are you seeing being delivered from live.com using the keywords? How many registrations/conversions are you seeing?

If you could supply these details then perhaps someone could help quantify what kind of money you will possibly be earning over the longer term - providing you stay in roughly the same position.

Its simply, MSn sucks , dont worry about it. take care of your rankings with google and yahoo. You can even scrap yahoo and just worry about where your site shows up on google.
